Riviera Sarovar Portico Pathankot
"This is the only upscale hotel I could find in Pathankot. It's new, clean and quaint. I love the pool design and layout. The staff is extremely helpful but there were some hiccups to overcome. For example, water leaking from light fixture requiring me to downgrade to a smaller available room, served uncooked chicken, housekeeper entered my room without permission or knocking or ringing the doorbell, late responses from the reception team. I truly believe this place can be one of the "greats" but they need to iron out some links. It feels like they are still new to the hotel business and more supervision needs to be put in place. Mandeep did a fantastic job accommodating me during my stay but it was evident things were being missed. He just needs better support from his team and operations will work more smoothly. No place is at zero fault, it's about how the staff responds and the quality that is maintained. My overall recommendation is to give this place a try but manage your expectations. It is in a small town so "big city style" operations will not be here, yet. The staff us kind and they will do anything to help, they just lack experience."

"“I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The location was ideal—close to shops and attractions. I would definitely stay here again!”"
