This was my second time staying at this place and I love it. It definitely will continue to be my go to place when visiting Montreal. The staff as well were absolutely amazing especially this time around when we came into a little inconvenience they completely upgraded our room. My partner and I enjoyed our stay as always and will definitely be back!

Great spot to stay if you’re looking for somewhere to rest and drop your bags. Turn on a fan or use white noise on Spotify to block out any noise from other rooms. Had a heat overnight stay while in town, staff were extremely welcoming.

This property is exceptionally well located. And very well priced. It is freshly renovated/opened with a little more work to be done. Remember, this is a hostel, not a hotel. The bathrooms are shared. The bedrooms are private. This is great value for the budget minded traveller.

One of the Worst Stays We've Had – Misleading and Noisy We truly felt scammed by The Little Prince Rooms – Old Montreal. We had specifically requested a quiet room, but were given the noisiest one, right by the front door. We heard people coming and going at all hours, which made it nearly impossible to rest. On top of that, we were shocked to find out that the bathrooms were shared – something that was never mentioned in the listing. To use the restroom, we had to walk past the reception area every time, which felt very awkward and intrusive. The front desk itself was a mess, with someone actually sleeping at the desk and fast food bags (McDonald’s) scattered around – definitely not what you'd expect at this price point. To make matters worse, when we arrived, we were stuck outside waiting 15 minutes with no one to open the door and no one answering the phone. It felt completely unprofessional and unwelcoming. This was a very bad experience. We felt misled, uncomfortable, and disappointed. We will absolutely never return – once was more than enough.

The room was very clean spacious and beautiful. The stairs and floors leading up to the room however had just been freshly painted and they smelled strongly of chemicals, but the room itself did not. I had a great time and I would love to go back! Cannot beat the price.

Average property for the price. Since the establishment is new, there is no air circulation or air conditioning at all, making the entire place super hot. Also a large amount of dust came down from the ceiling in the room, which may be because they are still doing some renovations?

The negatives: - Soundproofing is abysmal. I could hear the people in the room above mine conversation, word for word. Any impact on their floor sounded like a thunderstorm in my room. Terrible, even with earplugs. - The place recently opened yet lots of the installation were lacking. Bathrooms on the second floor not functional, kitchen space empty, both bathrooms on the first floor had issues. Just... not great. They should have delayed a bit more before opening. - No AC or fans in the rooms. This will rough during hot and humid summer nights. The pros: - The location is great, being in old port with lots of activities that's at a walkable distance. All in all, I cannot recommend the place. I had originally booked 4 nights and after not getting any sleep whatsoever on the first night, requested to cancel the rest of my stay. They agreed to reimburse half of it but I've not received anything 2 weeks after, even after communicating with them multiple times.
