Fantastic hotel with very helpful staff! Right in the heart of the shops and other restaurants. Easy access to train and bus. Fondue Krebs was the best of the 4 fondue’s we had on our trip! Fantastic breakfast with made to order eggs (fill out a sheet) Also, the bartender provided us ice for our room. Hotel has a vintage romance feel to it. Was a great place to stay and easy train access to Grindlewald and Lauterbrennen. Boat ride on the lake also recommended!

Awesome experience at Hotel Krebs! Great amenities and accommodations. Great real A/C, and the included breakfast was good. Staff was really friendly and whenever we had a question, the staff had an answer! The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The shower wasn't the best however as it was on a rail over the bath tub and the shower head wouldn't really stay upright The most disappointing thing about our stay was the breakfast. The first morning some of the items had run out but they weren't replenished until my husband requested it. The second morning we arrived half way through the service and some of the trays were almost empty (eg muesli and fruit salad). They remained like this until we left. One of the staff removed the fresh fruit tray but it took about 30 minutes for it to be returned. There were also a lot of tables that needed clearing . There were 2 staff members in attendance but they didn't appear to be doing much My husband complained after breakfast and things did seem to improve the next morning This hotel is not inexpensive so this was disappointing
