While the kitchen was nicely stocked, and the beds were comfortable, this place had a lots of little things that need improvement.
The building itself is a row of garages, like a warehouse and pretty sketchy with no signs or labels so I wasn’t sure if I was in the right place.
The apartment is new but poorly constructed: —the bathroom doorknob was broken- you’d get stuck in there if you closed the door. —the shower water gets all over the floor —there were no towel racks or hooks —there were no hangers —there’s a window /skylight with no shade so the room could never get even close to dark —the floor was really noisy with every step —some of the outlets didn’t work
But the biggest problem with this apartment was that —the police— knocked on the door around 9:30pm asking if we lived there and how we booked it and who we rented from.
Fairly certain this place is not registered or legal as a short term rental.
When you go in the door from the outside, past the blocked out garage window with old insulation, it takes you upstairs to a big open space with other doors to I think apartments for real residents. It was very strange and pretty sketchy.
Ocean views- yeah, over the industrial area and big trucks.
I would definitely not recommend this apartment.
