I wouldn't stay here again
The website description for this place said there was wi-fi in all rooms. I could not get Wi-Fi in my room or in any of the common areas. The website also said that payment by credit card was accepted. When I asked to pay by credit card the owner refused to accept it and insisted on cash. The stairs are narrow, steep and often dark. Hard to climb with luggage.

BIG NO!
This B&B is a NIGHTMARE! The house is near the city center and that´s about it all. It smells like hell everywhere and it is dirty outside. The room is quite clean, the toilets too, but if you want to spend your holiday in the toilet that´s ok. iN THE TOILET, YOU CAN´T USE THE TOILETPAPER. The atmosphere is very very bad and I am not picky. The stairs that lead you to the room are awfull, but I guess that is the caracter of the house. I would NEVER RECOMAND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE ON ANY KIND OF HOLIDAY. Everything you saw on the Internet , it is the opposite of that. The lady is nice as long as you don´t complaine about anything. When we arrived she spoke quite good english, when I later had a problem (I have ASTMA, and couldn´t breathe in the house, close, dark and kind of dampness, it was like I was trapped) than she "didn´t understand" everything I said. But even if I was perfectly healthy I would NEVER go back. The night we stayed there it was freezing cold in the room, outside it was warmer. We had big sweaters on and 3 blankets. Crazy! And the price is not cheap. Like I said, NO NO NO. I MEAN IT! I have been to many places, but this was the worst by far!

Nie mehr im Januar
War in dem Hotel im Januar. Es gab keine Heizung. Das Haus war unbewohnt zu der Zeit. So kann sich jeder denken, es herrschte im Grunde ein kühl, feuchtes Klima in den Räumen. Im Badezimmer lag deswegen schon der abgefallene Putz in einer Ecke. In meinem Zimmer stand so ein halbdefekter Heizstrahler herum, der es aber nicht wirklich schaffen konnte, eine angenehme Wärme zu erzeugen. Zwischendurch leerte ich schon mal den Auffang-Eimer der unter dem tropfenden Siphon in der Küche stand. Überrascht war meine Vermieterin auch, als sie auf meiner Reisebestätigung erkennen konnte, das ich mit Frühstück gebucht hatte.........Ich war die ganze Zeit alleine in dem Haus. Kann sein das dieses kleine Hotel in einer Nebengasse, im Sommer ein netter Ort ist, aber im Januar sollte man unbedingt Abstand davon nehmen.. ......und mein Tipp :Auch nicht versuchen Gäste anzuwerben.......Wer mir nicht glaubt, hab von allem Bilder gemacht! Für Leute die mit Mietwagen anreisen ist es auch ungünstig, es gibt keine kostenfreien Parkplätze in der ganzen Gegend. Da kann das Hotel nicht dafür, trotzdem immer ärgerlich (Nachts ist frei).

Non aprite quella porta
B&B fatiscente e situato in un vicolo sporco e maleodorante. Sistemazione in camera al quarto piano senza ascensore, raggiungibile tramite una scala stretta, con bagno da condividere con persone sistemate su un divano letto posto nella stanza antistante dove viene anche servita la colazione per gli ospiti di tutto il B&B. La camera è umida e non è dotata di aria condizionata. Bagno piccolo che si allaga alla prima doccia e non rifornito di carta igienica. L'erogazione di corrente elettrica salta continuamente.

Hyvä siainti
Vanha talo. Huone siisti. Kylppäristä tuli kuumaa vettä kun ei sulkenut lämmitintä :). Omistaja(?) rouva oli hyvin ystävällinen ja palvelualtis. Aamiainen (kahvi, mukki/kroisantti, jugurtti ja lasi tuoremehua) meidän kokemuksen mukaan aika normaali tämän hintatason paikassa. Maksu käteisellä.

Pour une nuit, une seule si pas de choix
L'hotel le plus mauvais que où nous avons été en Sicile. Difficile à trouver dans la vieille ville, dans une rue non-rassurante. Notre chambre était au 3ème étage avec un escalier tellement vertical que nous n'avons pas pu monter nos valises dans la chambre! La chambre est surchargé d'élément de déco par toujours de premier gout avec une impression de saleté alors que c'est propre. La douche : un petit filet d'eau. Petit dej très moyen. Seul avantage : la proximité de la belle ville de Trapani. A 50 euros/nuit, c'est n'importe quoi !

Hotel Malvarosa - Trapani, Sicilien
Detta är inget hotel såsom det beskrivs utan en B&B väldigt centralt i Trapani. Malvarosa är beläget på en innergård där man inte kommer närmare än 150 meter med bil, trånga gränder och trappan upp till rummen sitter utanpå väggarna och är så smala att man inte kan bära en väska vid sidan om sig, utan man får försöka bära den framför eller bakom sig. Renlighet OK, ingen luftkonditionering eller frukostrum, frukost om man nu kan kala det så levereras till rummen enligt ök tid. Att denna tid kulle stämma något så när hade man ju väntat sig, men att få leta upp personalen 45 minuter efter ök kändes inte ok. Ingen reception utan ville man ha tag i personal fick man gå ut i trappan och ropa, då fick man i bästa fall tag i någon. Förhållandevis dyrt.

Hvor lave dine standarder end er, så hold dig langt væk fra dette sted. Pris og kvalitet hænger som regel sammen, men i dette tilfælde ligger kvaliteten simpelthen for langt ovre i den rådne ende af skalaen. Ganske uacceptabel behandling, både i forhold til mad, komfort og indeklima. Hele stemningen lugter langt væk af slum. Dette er IKKE et sted for personer som er vandt til bare det laveste sanitetsniveau - med et toilet der ikke kan skylle vil jeg påstå at dette aspekt ganske enkelt er udeladt på Malvarosa.

qualita' non immaginabile.ma chi controlla un esercizio? camera grande 20 cm. piu' del letto,lampada mancante nel bagno,scarico doccia non funzionante e piedi ammollo fino alla caviglia,piatto doccia sporco,tenda doccia mancante della meta' con allagamento di tutto il pavimento e spostamento di un tappeto per assorbire,porta rotolo sdradicato dal muro e rotoli sulla vaschetta,colazione con quantita' dietetiche.Essendo il venerdi' santo mancava la immediata alternativa.Non mi vedranno piu'!!!!!!!

Vi var vidende om at stedet var meget billigt. Dog var kvaliteten under al kritik. Meget fugtigt indeklima, når vinduerne åbnedes var der 2 meter til en grå mur. Værelset bar spor af tidligere beboere, glemte strømper og hygiejebind i natbordsskuffen. Ikke alle el -pærer fungerede, wc-bræt så beskadiget at det ikke kunne bruges, meget meget lidt vand i bruseren og den ene dag slet ikke varmt vand! Morgenbakken der serveredes udenfor værelsesdøren havde halvkold kaffe og sandkage som hovedbestanddel, Iøvrigt forlod vi værelset 2 dage før tid på grund af fysisk og psykisk ubehag. Til denne smøre bør tilføjes at vi har reserveret ca 25 gange tidligere gennem Hotel. com og vi er vidende om, at der er sammenhæng mellem pris og kvalitet. Vi har aldrig tidligere kommet med negativ bedømmelse af et værelse.

Non tornerei in questo "albergo"
Le foto non corrispondono alla realtà... Sono camere di un appartamento adibite ad ospitare turisti non troppo esigenti. Il bagno NON è assolutamente nuovo ma anzi le parete scrostate e sporche, senza sapone, i sanitari rotti. La finestra della nostra camera dava su un muro e al mattino un ronzio fastidioso ci ha svegliato con urla di persone che risiedono nel palazzo (siccome non esiste l'aria condizionata è indispensabile tenere la finestra spalancata!). Per arrivare occorre lasciare la macchina o nella piazza vicino o sul lungomare, ma poi è necessario arrivare a piedi all'albergo attraversando i vicoli. La scala di accesso è piccola e ripidissima (con i bagagli è un delirio). La signora che gestisce il posto è molto gentile, ma sinceramente non ci tornerei mai. La colazione (che per noi era servita in camera) consisteva in poca roba confezionata, niente a che vedere con la tipica e abbondante colazione siciliana. E' solo comodo per chi si imbarca per le isole (il porto è vicinissimo).

Da evitare
Assolutamente evitatelo! Innanzitutto si tratta di un b&b e non di un albergo (non era molto chiaro dalla descrizione). In realtà è una signora di Trapani che affitta un paio delle sue camere. Le foto non corrispondono esattamente alla descrizione! Per arrivare alla camera si sale su per una scala con gradini piccolissimi che a momenti con le valige ci ammazzavamo.. E poi il quartiere è di uno squallido infinito, io sono sempre rimasta in camera ed è uscito solo il mio ragazzo perchè avevo paura ad uscire in strada (io sono siciliana e vivo a milano, quindi non sono una che in genere si fa impressionare molto..). Quando siamo arrivati il mio ragazzo ha visto un bel topone che ci attraversava la strada! L'unica nota positiva è la vicinanza al porto. Un'ultima cosa: non sognatevi di arrivare sotto il b&b in macchina, perchè il vicolo è così stretto che non ci si passa nemmeno con la mia piccola c1... se proprio non trovate di meglio, parcheggiate sul lungomare...
