I picked this hotel due to previous reviews and the closeness to some bars and istikal street and a train station.
On arrival we were lucky enough to get the top duplex which suited is for the extra size. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The staff even offered to arrange a tour for us along bosphorus river was a nice touch.
Complimentary water was also provided.
If i return to Istanbul i will definitely look to stay at The Story Pera again.

Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers various opportunities to save when booking your trip to Istanbul. If you're planning a spontaneous escape, the Last-Minute Deals section could present you with discounted options near your travel date. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool on the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see competitive offers when rooms become available or prices drop.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and season, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in an Istanbul hotel. For travellers seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised atmosphere and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Istanbul’s excellent public transport links, you may find that a more affordable independent hotel further afield is still well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
