We had a great stay at The Abbey. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself was clean and perfect as a base. The dog welcome pack felt a little overpriced at £25 but then again it was nice to find somewhere that would accommodate dogs. Would happily stay again.

We had a great stay here….our only issue was that there is no lift & we had a lot of luggage…but the reception staff were excellent & put us on the 2nd floor instead of the 3rd, as we were booked….she also helped us up with our luggage! The TV wasn’t usable due to a loud noise when on and the shower was very difficult to set up the correct temperature. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and they had an umbrella to use as it was pouring. It was also good value for money to stay in this area for £86 for a double room.
