The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately our roof leaked 3 of the 6 nights we stayed here which caused large puddles of water throughout the room - this was during peak stormy season however for the price of the hotel we would have expected a better maintained roof. Other than this, the hotel is beautiful, the room was huge, and it's very quiet and peaceful. We'd definitely return during a less rainy period.

There hotel is absolutely lovely and feels like a vacation! The rooms are very spacious and the ceilings are ridiculously tall. The location is on the quietest end of the malecón and somehow doesn't get too noisy, for being on it. After staying in the Golden Zone and here, I much prefer being closer to the historic center for atmosphere, good food and people watching. The only downside is the very small pool - it's the size of a 2-3 bathtubs, 4 feet deep, so definitely not for swimming but just soaking overlooking the water. The food at the restaurant was just OK but decent, and there are other options nearby. The staff were great!
