The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, ie they are able to help with most queries without having to consult with supervisors or managers. During our 5-day trip to Hunter Valley and Port Stephens, this hotel was by far the best choice we made. For our anniversary trip, the hotel staff upgraded us to the Hunter Suite and surprised us with a lovely bottle of local sparkling wine—such a thoughtful touch! We also had dinner at Botanica, one of their associated restaurants, located about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The meal was excellent and well worth the trip. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight, as we enjoyed it outdoors in a serene and picturesque setting. One of the most memorable moments was sipping wine while watching kangaroos hop around the property—a truly magical experience. The hotel grounds are stunning, and the attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. Overall, a beautiful property with outstanding service that made our anniversary trip extra special.

This was a very special stay. The property felt new and clean and rooms were good size. We really enjoyed our Valentines dinner at Eremo's and the breakfasts each morning were delicious. Our morning view always included kangaroos which made it extra special. We booked the Spa at their sister resort and it was excellent. Great location in the wine country and we enjoyed three different wineries during our three night stay.
