Loved the grounds and staff. All were quite helpful. The meals were well done. The location, a short walk to Centro was great. The beds were firm, but comfy. Slept very well here. Great restaurants also nearby. One of the best locations to scout out SMA.

Great inexpensive buffet breakfast. Received room service promptly whenever requested. 24 hour reception (we arrived at 3:30am and left at 4:30am). Hotel clean, comfortable with pool, gymn and three English speaking news stations on large smart t.v. Large restaurant with meals available until 11pm. Nice bar with comfortable sofa style seating inside or patio area. 10 to15 minutes walk to center of town or $2 Uber ride. Perfect hotel for the price for my son and me visiting a family friend.

Perfect location, but one of the staff members at the reception area was nasty. They charged us for the parking lot, which we thought was included - a bad surprise. The room's carpet didn't look clean enough, and the bathroom had a terrible odor due to the lack of strainer covers.

The room was clean and comfortable but outdated. The shower switched to colder and hotter by itself which was irritating. We ordered room service, and the soup was very good, but the tacos were terrible. The front desk service and concierge/bellboy's service were outstanding.

Our experience at this hotel was mixed. While the room was spacious (we had a junior suite) and the location was near enough to the main city center, this is not a well run hotel. We struggled to get sheets and blankets despite asking multiple times (it never came). The room keys consistently didn’t work. The shower didn’t drain properly and almost flooded. The toilet clogged. There is a pool, but it’s ice cold and not cleaned. And the concierge desk was empty most of the time and the front desk was not helpful. WiFi was choppy and slow. I had to do a work call and it kept cutting in and out. As other reviews have previously suggested, the place needs a facelift to say the least and a change in Management. We loved our stay in San Miguel, a gorgeous city, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel 4 nights in the past 2 weeks. The first 2 nights, March 2nd and 3rd, were good. We were on the second floor, room 214, the room was good. We used the pool and the water seemed a bit cloudy, I figured it was because it was after a weekend and the pool had a lot of use. But when we came back for Mar. 9th and 10th we went to use the pool again and the water was still cloudy, even worse than the week before. I did see someone working around the pool mechanical area so I am assuming they knew about an issue, but they should have posted the pool to use with caution because I felt the pool was not looking the best. There was garbage around the pool in the shrubs for the 2 days we were here, the waiter serving around the pool could have picked it up. On our second visit here, 9th and 10th we were on the first floor, room 110. There was a fairly strong septic smell in the corridor going to our room. The room was dull and never did get any sun coming through the window. The bathroom was clean but the glass door and the tiles in the shower and bathroom glass door seemed to be stained with soap scum. There were a couple of other small things around the room and hotel that made this place feel more like a 3 star hotel rather than the 5 star as advertised. The front desk staff and bell boy were very freindly and accomadating. We walked to the artisan market in about 25 minutes, we are over 70 years old so younger people could do it in a shorter time I am sure.

El hotel requiere una renovación profunda para estar a nivel de la competencia. Instalaciones con diseño anticuado, cuartos con fuga a nivel de techo, areas comunes poco comodas, espacios comunes oscuros. Las ventajas del hotel son su ubicacion, grandes areas verdes, juegos para niños y alberca. El servicio en general fue bueno.
