We really enjoyed our stay here. Check-in was easy and the people at reception spoke English which was very helpful to us. Rooms were clean and nicely laid out. The bar fridge was pleasantly tall for bigger bottles. Only down side was that the temperature controls in room didn't work very well so it was often hot. We did open the windows which helped at night time. The buffet included with the room was a real highlight. They had a wonderful selection of warm and cold food. Staff were really attentive with clearing plates and making sure food levels stayed stocked. Hotel was nicely located to public transport. We caught the train/tram from the central station with suitcases with no issues. There is a grocery store right next door which was convenient for picking up snacks and drinks.

Scammed for an extra night
Only 2 stars because the room was clean and adequate to stay in, and the breakfast was delightful and free. The staff seemed friendly, but if you’re visiting and do not speak German, there may be a language barrier because I was charged an extra night. I kept explaining to the people and they kept saying I need to contact Hotels.com, which I did multiple times on my stay and still no reconciliation. I paid what I needed to pay, but it is unfair to someone who paid to stay at your hotel to be on the phone multiple days just to try and get things fixed and they can’t even help you! They said they “fixed it” but when I was given a receipt, I was charged the basically the same amount and one of the nights was 399€…. It made no sense. The front desk clerk was using a calculator as if he was trying to make the price the same but make it 1 less day… Each night said the check out date instead of the date of each night I stayed, as if he just edit it on that day. Very fishy and untrustworthy. I feel scammed. Maybe try somewhere else if you’re planning a stay in Berlin.

Good located hotel
Comfortable hotel with good location in Mitte, very close to tram/bus/U stations with many restaurants/bars options in short walking distance. Breakfast is very good and the service as well. We stayed in larger rooms (business) that were quiet (turning to the back of the building). Rooms, shower and toilette are clean, but very new. Large supermarket is next door which is very convenient, especially while travelling with kids
