We are just back from a stay at this hotel (two parents, a three year old and a two year old). The foyer, reception and communal areas are very nice, clean and modern. (Pool has no shallow end) The rooms however, are worn and a bit shabby in places. There are signs saying hotel is undergoing a facelift but I didn't see any evidence of that.
Our first room was great, compact enough (great for us with two little kids to keep an eye on), spotless beds (one double, one pull out), spotless sheets, pillows and blankets. Kitchen had everything we would need too, and spotless. We had a serious issue with the shower on our first morning, it soaked the carpet in the adjoining bedroom through the wall. Staff were great and sent a technician, who couldnt fix the issue and we were told we would have to move. Given that the rest of the room was ideal for us (even the bits of wear and tear made it more relaxed for us with small kids who play on couches etc), we asked if we could stay put and just use the bath instead of the shower and we were told no problem. However when we came back from the parks the following day our roomkeys didnt work and staff told us we had to move after all. This was unfortunate and it disrupted a full evening for us. They moved us to a much bigger apartment, with a stairs and while I appreciate the thought, it felt less safe for our toddlers. But it too was clean and comfortable.
Staff were wonderful and the value for money was great. Easy walk to Disney.
