Radisson Blu Hotel, Bergamo Choruslife
"Very good all round . 5 stars"
Hotel Piazza Vecchia
"Nice rooms , friendly staff , fresh bread , boiled eggs , ham, salami ,cheese for breakfast plus other sweet choices."
Fuori Porta House
"Fuori Porta House hotel is in a great location on the edge of the old town of Bergamo, right next to one of the arched stone gateways. It is a smart, modern hotel. Breakfast is served in a lovely, bright room at the back of the hotel, and at the front is a terrace bar that is frequented by guests and locals alike. There is also a pizza restaurant below the hotel, which was recommended as the best in Bergamo by my walking tour guide :-) My room was spacious and luxurious with fantastic air-conditioning (it was very hot during my stay). Everything you could need was provided and the staff were all very friendly and kind. I will stay here every time I visit Bergamo from now on!"
Hotel Excelsior San Marco
"Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast😊"
Il Sole Bergamo
"Brilliantly sited, amazing view of buildings from our room, good choice of food at breakfast"
Quarto Verde Apartments
"Maybe not the best area but Incredibly handy for the train and bus station, the property strict about check in at 3pm. We were on the 7th floor the views of the old city from the balcony were great. Balcony got the sun all day, property very well equipped everything looked brand new and modern. Complimentary water and coffee machine much appreciated. Didn’t get to use the pool area as swim caps were needed not sure if u can buy them there. Lovely relaxing areas in the lobby which seem also to be used by elderly permanent residents possibly? All in all a lovely apartment with great views for an overnight stay or longer."
GombitHotel
"Amazing stay. Clean rooms, good breakfast and helpful staff"
Palazzo Santo Spirito
"We stayed at this wonderful hotel 6 nights. I loved strong shower, windows facing to the hotel garden patio and chiming bell. The room was very clean with comfortable pillows and noise insulation. I choose this hotel, because it's in quiet lower Bergamo city area, but around are so many places to eat - pizza, sushi and brunch restaurant.. As well I loved that hotel room had a kettle, even that our breakfast was included in the price. As well I loved hotel decoration vibes and plenty areas to lounge with beautiful bar. I used one day hotel spa, which was very quiet."
Mercure Bergamo Centro Palazzo Dolci
"Belle hôtel , bien situé à deux coins de rue de la gare .bon déjeuner complet . À proximité de la basse et haute cité."

- Book for the cheapest times: Visiting Bergamo on a budget is most affordable in January, November, and December, when hotels may drop to lower prices. For those seeking great value for money, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal. In this time, you can explore key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions such as cathedrals, castles, museums, and UNESCO sites, as well as mountain views, natural parks, and charming hilly areas. The city offers a rich tapestry of history and culture, making it a budget-friendly destination for travellers.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For hotel deals in Bergamo, you may discover attractive offers by visiting the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. To secure last-minute rates, check the Last-Minute Deals area, where you could find discounted hotels near your travel date. Additionally, enable notifications to stay informed about flash sales. Through the Smart Shopping tool available via the app, you are more likely to see a comparison of hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you remain updated on available options for your Bergamo getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your Bergamo hotel stay. For those in search of distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised touch and occasionally better value. When booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average; if it appears on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a more appealing option.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Bergamo's excellent public transport links, you may find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
