We had an excellent stay at the Shangrila Rada Ria hotel. The resort is extensive, offering plenty of activities. The positives first: - Was upgraded when arriving, even though to a hotel with water leaking through the roof. The other room we booked had electrical issues and needed maintenance several times throughout the stay. - Spa was really nice and the people working there were great. - Most of the employees were helpful and service minded, and food was okay. The not so good: - Breakfast is constantly the same every single day. - While the nature around the resort is generally nice, the beach is terrible - no sun beds, lots of sand flies and the flag is red almost every day. It is also quite far to she shoreline and they would benefit a lot if they built a walkway to the shore. - The hotel is only situated 30km or so from town, but traffic is terrible during certain times - up to 2 hrs of lines if you need to depart early. - Pool is undersized for the amount of people using it. -Hotel is generally old and outdated, doesn’t give off a 5-star hotel vibe. Tiles are cracked, water damage, leaking pipes, moldy furniture and curtains, etc. All in all, not very happy about the hotel and we will not be returning to Shangri-La.

The property is fantastic.. wonderfully maintained.. quite spacious.. multiple pools, several restaurants.. things to do.. super friendly and helpful staff.. special shoutout to Steffi in the front desk..
