An incredible area. We especially loved the beach. The main drag, abundant with bars, restaurants and cannabis shops and cafes, was very busy and congested. But then again this was the height of Tourist Season. Just keep that in mind if visiting.

If you want to get away from the hustle and noise of Bangkok, come here. If you want to go to an excellent restaurant, go to Owen Restaurant. It is a small restaurant but has great food (American and Thai) and the Owners are very nice and helpful.

It was rainy season, so swimming at the beach was not possible, but the pools were very nice. We stayed in a garden bungalow and it was very nice. Would highly recommend."

"I enjoyed four nights in a bungalow on the front line of Kae Bae beach. The accommodation was very comfortable and it was such a pleasure to look directly out to the beach and water from the front door. And there was a lovely porch there to sit on and enjoy the scenery. In addition, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The town area is just a 6-7 minute walk away, but a concierge was available to take me in a cart. Lots of dining and massage options in the town area. Overall, I had a great stay and will hope to return one day…"
"We loved the pools and the view from the hotel across the beach and out to sea. The staff were incredibly lovely and the splash pool and slide a hit with the kids. The morning yoga was wonderful the restaurant food was good too. The only downside for us was that the property is in need of some renovation. Broken tiles in beach pool, proves missing their thatching, our outdoor shower was unusable as filthy and in poor condition. The indoor shower was a handheld standing or sitting in bath so not ideal."
"Beautiful location right on the beach. Clean rooms and extremely helpful staff. They helped me rent a scooter when we checked in and they delivered it within 5 minutes. Location is across the street from a 7-11 and a nice steakhouse and other hotels right nearby that were all fun and the area was very nice. Definitely happy I chose this hotel for my stay...we liked it so much we stayed an extra day to relax and enjoy =)"
