Previously used a Prem inn when staying in Wellingborough, but that is very tired an out of town! The Columbia provided exactly what I wanted, an economic room for two nights, en-suite and a short walk into town. Could only have breakfast on the first morning because I time constraints; a basic full English plenty of coffee and juice. Owners/staff were polite and helpful. The hotel has some age, but is entirely functional for a short stay! I was visiting Santa Pod with a car to display, so safe off road parking at the Columbia was perfect!

Small hotel run for a family that make you feel at home. Food was good, need order before everything is cooked fresh from scratch! Helpful staff and clean and tidy. Building is old but well kept. Definitely I will be back. Price was good for what you get and price didn’t increase because Silverstone as other hotels did. Love it

6/10 Good

Decent family room and a decent place to stay for the night. My only complaint was the shower head is fixed making it difficult for people of smaller height (like myself) to shower properly - it also leaked out of the shower because of its positioning which drenched the floors.

Great value, basic, clean, not modern but did its job. I needed a comfy bed, clean bathroom, nice and peaceful, good parking and great breakfast. It was cheap. Great family hotel, very friendly.

10/10 Exceptional

I stayed at Columbia Hotel & Restaurant and overall had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel has a friendly, family-run feel and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, which really made a positive difference. The room was clean, tidy, and perfectly adequate for a short stay. While the hotel is a bit dated in places, everything was well-maintained and I felt comfortable during my visit. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed, including tea and coffee facilities. Overall, it’s a solid budget-friendly hotel that delivers on cleanliness, comfort, and friendly service. I would happily stay again for a short visit and would recommend it for anyone looking for good value accommodation in Wellingborough.

The owners are delightful. Value for the price was excellent. Bedroom newly refurbished and very comfortable

10/10 Exceptional

Check in was quick and staff helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and looked like it had new furniture, curtains and carpets. Some friends staying in other rooms did not have the same experience, it seems the refurbishment hadn’t reached there yet. The corridors etc looked tired and dated but for the price, our stay was very comfortable and convenient.
