A booking of four months standing and after a drive of six hours on the day was met with a response of they did not have a room for us. This response was on the phone as we sat in the car in front of the locked gates. They would not let us in nor look at the proof of my booking.
How in the world can they run a business and treat a customer with such contempt? This is the first time after many bookings on the internet and in several different countries that this has happened to us. This will also be raised in a formal complaint with Expedia.
