This was our third or fourth visit to Kuching. Lovely and relaxed city atmosphere. Very impressive Sarawak Culture Museum. Lovely (eccentric) cat Museum. And the view of the river from our room was beautiful.

Kuching itself was a very pleasant area. LOTS of great tours (we used Ooo Haa Adventure Tours). If you stay down by the Riverwalk there are plenty of great touristy photo ops, and the area is very walkable. Very laidback vibe for a good-sized town

Ceylonese restaurant awesome with garlic cheese naan and whole menu tasty. Bus only takes 35mins to Baku NP and only 1R so very worth it
