It's got big hills! Wonderful independent shops but locals well catered for too. The abbey church has a lot of history and is beautiful. We also like the plaques on buildings telling snippets of interest about people and history. Good restaurants

Malvern is full of history and it was nice to see all the well dressing over the bank holiday . There is also a Victorian train station worth a look. The hills are the main attraction with outstanding views you can't beat .

Great to revisit Malvern after a few years. A lovely town with the magnificent backdrop of the Malvern Hills. Lots to explore in the area. Don't miss the ancient Priory Church just opposite the hotel.

If you have any mobility issues getting around the town may be difficult because it is very hilly.

Malvern is a beautiful area and we will return to enjoy again but we will definitely not be staying in this hotel!
"The staff are very helpful and pleasant and make you feel very welcome. The room was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is a little out of town, however the food in the hotel is excellent and has a wide choice, with a reasonable selection of vegetarian food, so no real requirement to go out. There are some very minor niggles so as no facecloths, or glasses in the bathroom. Also a low power light which can left on to enable you find bathroom in the dark, perhaps more important to the older visitors of the hotel. All in all an excellent hotel"
"The best part was the early opening of the.swimming pool etc. without children till 0800. lovely pool, good layout, and receptionist very pleasant. Other staff all very helpful, too. Will be back again, enabled us to explore Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean."
"Lovely room just like the photos, filling breakfast and great service. Also very conveniently located near the main bus terminal. Would definitely return!"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gloucester Holiday Inn. The staff at reception were extremely helpful in our first visit to Gloucester. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was very comprehensive and beautifully prepared, and the staff very helpful.
Our stay was very good, and we fully appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered!"
