Great place to explore for at least a couple of days, especially with the colourful Christmas markets at this time of year. The Old Masters Gallery in the Zwinger palace contained many gems, including a couple of unmissable Vermeers.

Dresden is a lovely city. Very walkable and convenient to getting around. The Christmas markets were delightful. Loved the little cafe with the special eierschecke cake that we stumbled upon. What a treat!

Architecturally the most beautiful city in Germany. The Frauenkirche is worth viewing inside. If you understand German, I'd recommend the tour inside.

I fell in love with this city. Its rebuild from bomb destruction blew my mind. It is an architectural dream. The shops in the square had so many treasures to explore. My dinner recommendation would be Pulver Turm. Amazing German food.

Underrated in comparison to the major cities in Germany. A 3 night stay gave ample opportunity to explore and enjoy so many focal places. It's very flat too so ideal for those less active than we are.

There are so many historic buildings that have been rebuilt after the destruction of 1945. So much to do and see in this city by the river.

We liked Dresden more than Munich or even Berlin. It's a very livable city and people were very friendly.
"Great location. Modern hotel. Clean rooms. Easy walk to sights and restaurants. Convenient parking right around the corner in front of a police station so felt safe walking and leaving car there."
"The breakfast was fantastic, lots of options and everything was delicious. Also, it was just a short walk to the old city which was perfect for us during our short stay."
"The location of the hotel was close to looking around the Old City, and the inside of the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I had to leave early in the morning due to the rescheduled schedule, but I enjoyed the meal because they provided lunch box instead of breakfast."
"Overnatning som par. Gode senge. Puderne kan godt trænge til at blive skiftet. Fint morgenmad med glutenfri brød og laktosefri mælk ved forespørgsel. Hjælpsom personale i restauranten. "
