"Wow!! The White Hart is a super special gem in a historic building. My room and bathroom were large and decorated to a high standard and the bed was fantastic!!
Every member of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and you can tell they all enjoy working there.
I added breakfast to the room rate and there were so many choices to choose from. If you are a breakfast eater, this is something you should consider.
There are also numerous bars in the hotel and the bar staff were fantastic too!! The hotel location is amazing and literally steps from the cathedral and steep hill.
Highly recommend The White Hart hotel and I can’t wait to return very soon!! "
"Great value in a fantastic location. Room was a good size with a big bathroom & a very comfy bed too. Staff at the well run pub were very friendly & precessional. Excellent place."
"All staff I encountered where exceptionally friendly and helpful with good knowledge of local area. Lovely choices of full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Fantastic evening meals in the restaurant, though limited choice if staying more than two nights. Amazing location just a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and Castle at a reasonable price. Very clean comfortable room overlooking the Cathedral with everything you need. Best sleep ever! Definitely returning."
"I have stayed at the Earl many times over the decades. The staff haven't changed and i think this is an indication of how well the hotel is ran. The ladies on reception and breakfast are lovely. This time we had room 406, lovely big room overlooking carpark. Very quiet. Highly recommend "
