"Our first visit to Hiroshima and so glad that we chose Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate to spend our 4 nights there. The standout highlight was being greeted at the hotel reception by Makiko who guided us through check-in, then went above and beyond expectations by delivering us a hand-written note and maps of Hiroshima, to make the most of our time in the city. We asked for a quiet room and this request was fulfilled, the hotel's location being superb with so many eating options within 3-5 minutes of the front door. Breakfast was extensive and entertaining, especially with the cat-faced robot going around collecting empty trays and dishes."

"A great hotel on the river very close to Hiroshima Shinkansen Station. Had a great room with a view of the river. Was spotlessly clean and maintained as is the case with all the hotels I stayed in, in Japan. It was only a reasonably short walk to the Atomic Dome Memorial Park and the CBD. Would definitely stay there again. "

The assistant manager, Mr. Yamada went above and beyond along with the staff to ensure we had a special table by the window at our desired time regardless of super-booked reservations. My sister was delighted and made her a special memory that would stay forever. The hotel staff know how to provide surprise and delight to customers."
