Parador de Santo Estevo
"The setting is fantastic, almost on a mountain top. The hotel is an old monastery with 3ft wide walls and wonderful views of nature. They have a full spa to relax. We took one of the many walking routes around the hotel. Highly recommend if you like hiking through tons of greenery. The temperature was warm during the day and cool at night. All personnel we interacted with was very helpful and amicable. I recommend contacting the hotel directly if you are not driving from Ourense, our navigator got a bit confused."
Eurostars Vila de Allariz Hotel Balneario
"We loved our big room with a wraparound balcony and a nice bathroom and shower. The view was beautiful and Allariz was a nice, small town with a lot to do. Breakfast was also well appointed and yummy and the staff was helpful."
Barcelo Ourense

Hotel Carrís Cardenal Quevedo
"The hotel was clean and well looked after. Staff were great. Parking was also good right under the hotel with lift to access"
Hotel Miño
"This was a strange spot but amazing location. The elevator was tiny but it worked. The room needs an upgrade and you could hear EVERYTHING in the rooms beside you but it was clean and all in all was good. The coffee shop across the road was lovely. I went nearly every day."
NEW JJ HOSTEL
"Overall was a good stay. Conveniently located and luggage storage was really helpful and easy! 4 stars because not the cleanest… some hair and bits in the bathroom."
Alda Estación Ourense
"Nice and quiet place to stay after leaving Santiago."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Celanova
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Celanova is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the town's significant landmarks and cultural heritage, including its historic monuments. This timeframe offers great value for money, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich history and culture that Celanova has to offer.

- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay at a hotel in Celanova. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and may sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest more affordable dates, which could help you secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Choosing accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may offer added convenience, but it often comes with a steeper price tag. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, as they are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
