We stayed 2 nights. The room was spacious, but pretty basic. We are at Sally's both nights. The staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately their superiors, not so. I had emergency surgery 2 years ago, as a result I cannot eat a full portion. I asked if they did a half portion and was told no. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken slices. I managed half of the chicken and about 20% of the salad, which was mainly lettuce, with some cheese and croutons. There was no reason why they could...
Was a last minute booking as preplanned booking had fallen through after a family visit. The apartment was very clean and cosy and comfortable! We didn’t realise on booking that check out was 10 we wanted to do a late check out like 12 because it was so cozy but had to drive back into town to catch our flight! Lovely apartment would recommend for relaxing and getting away from busy area as it was so quiet. Also well equipped with the kitchen and tv area we just didn’t use much.
Where I stayed was a 5-minute walk away from the main house, quiet area and with huge upstairs lounge which had stunning views and walks around a lovely field. The rooms upstairs had no ensuite but all the rooms where high standard and the two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs where always free so no issues. They provided towels as well.
