Hotels in Redding

Redding is a great outdoors town. West on 299 takes one to the Trinity Alps, and the coast, east to Burney Falls, Hat Creek, Lassen Park. North to Mt. Shasta and Oregon. South to Chico and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. Hunting, fishing, backpacking.

Near some amazing sights, Sacramento River and lovely trails, Sundial Bridge, Turtle Bay, Mount Shasta. If you have a car and want to drive, 1 hour to Weaverville, 3 hours to Eureka, amazing coastline and the Redwoods are stunning.

Redding is a beautiful diverse community. There are LOTS of wonderful restaurants, and beautiful hiking trails, lakes and waterfalls all on the outskirts.

There are loads of hiking and biking trails in Redding. Also the Turtle Bay / Sundial Bridge area is fun.

Just a few minute drive from sundial bridge and turtle bay - a must walk by the river!

The Sundial Bridge and the loop walk were a nice evening activity with easy parking.

Overall, we had a great time in Redding. It's definitely not someplace that I feel safe leaving anything in my car or walking anywhere alone, but it does have a lot to offer by way of dining, entertainment and shopping.

The Reading area has lots of nice things to do with the damn the lake, the cave, and Sundal bridge things and other things. Good place for a great outdoor adventure if you got more time

Love that there are great coffee options, restaurants in walking distance and Sacramento River and Sundial bridge are nearby.

Redding is growing and changing lots. It used to be slow paced and easy-going. Not so much any more. Lots of stores and chains have developed stores in Redding, so lots of convienient shopping.
