The onsens were fantastic, eating in our yakatas a true experience. At dinner, the staff knew about our allergies and dislikes. The unbelievably wonderful waitress from Vietnam (I foolishly didn't get her name.) assured us at the beginning of our multi course meal that she and they would take care of us and that we had nothing to worry about. I LOVE THE GRAND HOTEL!"

When I came back to check in, they told me they had already transported my luggage to my room! In addition, they offered me a hot towel and a choice of free welcome drink (you can choose from beer to soft drink or a snack). The breakfast is wonderful too! Piping hot miso soup based hotpot served with dishes made from local ingredients. Only drawback is it is a 10 min walk from Toyooka JR Station."
