Junior suite was a superb choice for us, they are in a separate block opposite the main hotel block, each has its own garage with door to the suite, steps down to comfortable living area (TV, sofa etc) up to bedroom and en suite. Excellent wifi in the room, superb grounds, a really lovely place to stay. Shuttle bus does not run on Sunday, but hotel organised a taxi quickly, cost under 10 Euro to the cathedral. After a hard day on the Camino this was a tranquil oasis in the heat of the summer sun.
We had a wonderful welcome with staff being extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful, I was very impressed that they were able to help with a little late birthday surprise for my partner.
The only way we believe this stay could have been improved was if they had a small pool to relax at and cool down in, however we did know this was not one of the available facilities when booking so could not mark them down...
A short bus ride from the cathedral & tricky to find the bus stop for the return trip, but excellent shopping within easy walking distance. Evening meal quality was amazing and exceptional value for money

Lovely old farmhouse beautifully converted into five en suite guest rooms. The main reception / shared lounge is a beautiful room.

The place is a common resting point for people walking the Camino de Santiago… so we had a great evening sat in the garden sharing a supermarket bottle of wine with some “pilgrims”. .

Having lived in Santiago many years ago, I wasn't sure where to book as its all changed!! Was not disappointed with hotel in any way, a 10 min stroll from the old town, clean, modern, and if you have the breakfast included that's another added bonus as its lovely!! Staff very friendly, all English speaking for those of you that can't speak Spanish!! Pool wasn't open ( we did go October!) think law says they shut at beginning of sept, but we didn't want it, was loads to see and do in area!!...
The hotel was brilliant. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival and always friendly and helpful with excellent advice on the bus stop for Mount Gozo. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast where a range of food was available and the staff wonderful. Our room had blackout and air conditioning and we slept very well. We caught the bus from the airport to the bus station for 3 euros and walked to the hotel in about 15 minutes all downhill. We walked into the town every day and back again as...
