The hotel itself is a bit on the far end of the town, making it nice and quiet, with a fantastic view over lake Toya and the islands. If you come by train or bus, they kindly offer shuttle services, which was greatly appreciated. This might be useful to those planning to stay here without a car. We arrived by train at Toya station and walked to the 7-11 to stock up food for our 5-night stay. We took a taxi from Toya station to the hotel (around 3,500 yen). The hotel is pretty isolated (except for the lovely Lake hill farm, which offers space outdoors and nice food).
