Helpful staff, especially Lora and Maria on reception, who are both so enthusiastic about their island which was great to see. We went at a quiet time of year when we were probably the only tourists on Syros!! The hotel is currently being refurbished and will be fully ready in a couple of months when life will get busier there. They seem to have quite a few business travellers who stay there. Very quiet rooms because of the shutters provided.
Its always a surprise that a hotel exceeds your expectations and this one does that and more! The rooms were delightful, spacious, excellent facilities and so very quiet and relaxing. It was exactly what we were looking for.
Our first day was a bit of a washout so we opted for a massage session at the hotel and I must confess that despite my reservations, (I'm not a massage person), I can thoroughly recommend that. My wife is still talking about it a couple of weeks later!!

Excellent location, literary 30 seconds walk from the harbour. Room was compact but we had everything we needed. Shower drain needs improving, water very slow to drain after two showers. Being located on the ground floor next to the front door we experienced noise of guests coming in and out at night. We had a wonderful romantic stay at this beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views. The sun lights up the place from morning through afternoon, making it the perfect spot to relax. The staff treated us like royalty—breakfast was even served on our balcony, which made for a truly special start to each day. The hotel and staff were excellent and did try to accommodate my food choices (I’m vegan ). Generally I think more vegan options could be made available now we are in 2024 and vegans are more common. Even non vegans choose plant based sometimes. Anyway the hotel was lovely. We did feel under pressure to leave at 11am precisely at check out time but did appreciate the lift to the port area. I would recommend this hotel highly however.
Ideal location from ferry terminal and easy to find. After a long journey from the UK, this was exactly what we needed. A friendly welcome from Nicos, who then made sure we had everything we needed. The views and breakfast were amazing. The room had lots of homely touches and the toiletries sublime (esp. the honey shampoo). Nicos help the following day to make sure we saw the 'Upstairs town' was invaluable and a place we would certainly return to.
