"We booked this at short notice on Expedia and the hosts were very accommodating. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable bed and lovely shower. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the pub down the road for dinner,Penny Farthing. Only one comment the advert states more than once it has laundry facilities, however we’re advises there was none, so will seek out a laundromat at our next stop, however it was a selling point as we have been travelling for 6 weeks and over laundromats."

"Stayed for one night whilst visiting Abergavenny for hiking. Friendly staff and great location with views over river. Room was clean and shower pressure good with plenty of hot water. Had a tasty sausage sandwich for breakfast the next morning."

"The breakfast was really good. We used to have dogs but sadly lost both of them last year, but what we could see with people with the dogs were well catered for. We did feel that even though very clean a bit of updating needed overall, the dining room was lovely(looked new). "

"Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice.
