Ultraviolet Studios - อัมสเตอร์ดัม

The (2 bed-) room is very large and comfortable and feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Great location halfway between Dam and Nieuwmarkt. The owner, who runs a clothing store at the ground floor, is very friendly helpful.

What a find! The owner was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very large and had just been remodeled. For the cost this place is a steal. Close to the Dam, museums, and everything you could want to do in Amsterdam. On my return I will surely be looking to stay here again.

I stayed there for 3 nights, it was great, the owner is super nice and the room is great, really large and clean.

This room does not look like the pictures, which makes it rather overpriced. The owner is a very nice guy and the surrounding area is very central (next to the red light district), however it is very loud until late night, hence if you plan to spend any time in the room, it's not peaceful. Across the window there is the kitchen of a restaurant, there […] are no curtains in the room and the cooks can see (and constantly looking at) the room clearly. Super leilighet midt i sentrum. Her har du kort gåavstand til alt av det du trenger. Et par minutter unna DAM-SQUARE, du finner også bakerier, coffee-shops, butikker og kaffeer i samme gate. Perfekt og stor leilighet med gode senger og romslig stue. Verdens beste burger-sjappe på hjørnet 20 meter unna. Er også mulig å sjekke inn tidlig/sent, røyking […] er også tillat i leiligheten. Die Lage ist super, sehr zentral. Der Eigentümer ist ebenfalls sehr nett und überhaupt nicht lärmempfindlich. Eine Home-Party mit lauter Musik (Anlage vorhanden, um Iphone anzuschliessen) ist kein Problem, Freunde ins Studio mitnehmen ebenfalls problemlos möglich (ganz im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Hotels, wo das nicht möglich ist). Too cold in this apartments when outside temp. 16-18C. Not so clean as we wish. Only two big towels and liquid soap in bathroom.

We were staying in the 38 m2- apartment on the 1:st floor. It was very roomy. Nice beds with comfortable sheets. It has a bed-settee as well. The room got a stereo so you can play your own music. The cleaning was´nt the best, some crap under the sofa but otherwise ok. Two big windows out against the street. With venetian blind. And it isolate the sound […] from outside very good. Very good location in the middle of red light district and only a couple of minutes from Dam square. And the service and hospitality of the owner was great. I will certanly stay at Ultraviolet Studios again.
