What a wonderfully appointed hotel. It was a most enjoyable stay. Some suggested improvements include: 1. Lobby signs in lifts 2. Exit signs in carpark 3 and 4 and 3. Signs directing towards lifts in the lobby. Thank you for this opportunity.

The house keeping was quick in answering but the girl who came up was unable to speak proper English, so we had some troubel with that.

I had a three night visit to Canberra so I found the East Hotel on hotels.com. I really did luck out on this one. It's practically a brand new hotel, very modern and chic. I stayed in a studio room that faced south. The layout was good, the furnishings were new and modern, the suite was fully equipped, the staff were very helpful and I would easily […] stay there again. The location of the hotel was right near grocery shopping and restaurants though it was a bit of a walk to the Parliamentary Zone and the substantial walk from the CBD. The one singular issue I had was with the bedding. I think my duvet lining had not fully dried when my bed was made so there was a faint mildew smell to it. I did not seem to realise what it was until really my last night when it got particularly strong and I started feeling sick. Overall great value for money, apartments have everything you need and a little bit more whilst on vacation. Handy for everything whilst in Canberra with many local shops,cafes etc nearby overall an excellent place to stay :)

I was very pleased with my stay at the East Hotel. I had to stay in that area for a business purpose. It was very close to nice restaurants, shopping, and the hotel was very modern and well maintained. I'd stay here again for sure.

Lobby and service great but room dark, squashy and could only open window 10cms and had to request that. Would only go back if requested room with balcony.

We booked this Hotel because of the positive reviews but the location was our first priority. It is a very new Hotel but felt very empty on our arrival. I think on our floor there was one 'No Thanks' hanging on a door. Our issue was an adjoining door,(we were a couple)' my husband wanted a beer - no mini bar price list and then to top it off a television […] which didn't work. In all honesty these issues are minor however after driving directly from Melbourne (7hrs) these added up to VERY annoying. The staff were accommodating but there seemed to be very few on duty so waiting for things took longer than it should. Also we eventually moved to another room - inconvenience because we had unpacked. And the room was lovely - light bright and no adjoining door. Why didn't we get this room in the first place? We stayed here for three nights with our 6 months old baby. The hotel is very modern and clean. Check in was a breeze. There is an secure underground parking for a small additional cost. Our apartment room is very clean. It is walking distance to Manuka shops where there are several branded shops and nice cafes and restaurant. The hotel/apartment was the best I’ve stayed in - clean, well set up, everything you need for a short or longer stay. Check in & out staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our apartment was large, extremely clean and had all the amenities we expected and more. The staff were welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to make sure your stay was most enjoyable. The hotel rooms are very modern and also comfortable. The bed despite it's reputation of being hard was also comfortable. The small touches like the lime/lemon water coolers in the foyer, the selection of magazines in the foyer the free pushbikes […] the personalised google maps from the front desk contributed towards making our stay very relaxing. Although the hotel is pitched at business travellers, as a couple we enjoyed our stay. Of note, were the printed instructions to and from the hotel for visiting places of interest (our car has no GPS), the Nespresso machine in the restaurant though the one in the bedroom didn't work satisfactorily and the overall helpfulness of the staff.

Our hotel experience at the East Hotel was extremely pleasing. Our suite was very comfortable with the most up-to-date furniture, luxurious bedroom & modern bathroom and what a great lounge room to relax in after walking around the many beautiful sites in Canberra. The staff were extremely helpful and the location .... FANTASTIC, so central to everything, […] Parliament House, the National Art Gallery, the National Library ..... And Kingston and Manuka just down the road. The hotel is quite new, fresh and very comfortable. The East Studio has a well equipped kitchenette, good bathroom and great bed. Carpet had a few dirty marks.

I never arrived at a hotel and there was no one at the reception! I am a seasoned traveller both domestically & internationally. I did not arrive at the early hours or the late hours. We got there around 4pm. There was no bell to ring. There was a woman who was in a uniform who saw me while talking to a "guest", I presumed. She went away tending on […] the guest but did not return right away. I had to peek through the office door to see if anyone is working in this so-called laid back unique hotel! For 15 mins, there was no one servicing us at all. I was going to give them a call and get someone out to serve us. Just before I pulled out my phone, 3 people came out of nowhere, including the woman in uniform before. One claimed that one person should be there but just stepped away. How hard is it to get someone to step in while he was away?! I was then shown an invoice with amount due even though I had paid in full when I booked. Very confusing as it was the amount that was supposed to be paid to the expedia website as explained by one staff! Food at the Ox eatery was great. However, the seating for the booth seat is not as comfortable as you need to lie all the way back, which is not quite appropriate for a dinner. I asked whether there is any mailing list that I can sign up for the restaurant news. I was told that the hotel maintains the restaurant website and "they are too lazy to maintain it". We loved staying at the East Hotel. It had a coffee machine, an iPod doc stereo, a full laundry, a full kitchen (including a dishwasher), 2 x TVs, a balcony and very cool decor. You know when you stay at other places and if you leave sihes, they charge you more?... Well, we came back from a day out and they had unpacked the dishwasher for me. The neighbourhood […] it is in is excellent - so close to the supermarket and cafes/bars/restaurants and even some boutiques. Would defintaley stay here again. I stayed at the East Hotel for a few days over the Xmas/New Year break and could not fault the Luxe Studio room I stayed in on level 5. The hotel is fairly new (6 months) and has a modern stylish decor with hints of a 70s retro look and feel, which I quite like. The rooms are generous in size and are furnished with a King size bed, small table and chairs(x2) […] as well as a reclining lounge chair and matching foot rest. The bathrom is a good size and has a good size spa bath as well as a separate shower and toilet. The kitchenette comes complete with a mcrowave oven, plenty of crockery and cutlry, a toaster, kettle and a nescafe coffee machine with complimentary coffee (x3). There's the usual assortment of sweet and savioury nibbles at a price as well as a variety of both alcoholic and non-acolholic beverages. The reception on groud flor is well attended and there is a modern looking restaurant on the same level. I have no idea what the food is like as I didn't dine in. If you prefer something more casual there's a nice pub across the road or plenty of cafes to choose from at Manuka. There is plenty of underground car parking below the hotel accessed using a hotel swipe card with lifts on every level. I really enjoyed my stay at East Hotel and the complimentary Xmas card and chocolate on Xmas day was a nice touch. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Check-in was courteous and simple - the room was a decent size - the appliances and bedding were all up to date and the general feel of the hotel was stylish and pleasant. Highly recommended.

we were very pleased with East Hotel. The room was spacious, modern and clean. It has only opened a month ago so everything was in great condition. The staff were very friendly. Also, it is in a good location, Manuka shops right across the street.

Brand new, well layed out with quality fittings and plenty of kitchen appliances. We made our own breakfast in the room which was convenient. The hotel has a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance.

everything was perfect apart from the workers using a hammer drill at 7.30 in the morning on the floor above. Also the bar down stairs needs a door between front of bar and back of bar (a bit messing looking with a curtain only)

新しくキレイです。でも、設備のメンテが少し不安。二日目に避難訓練を強いられました。火災警報発報です。シャワーの水が外に漏れるのも気になりました。デザイナーズホテル、のようなHPなので、設計が悪いのかも。フロントの対応など、その他については問題なくよかったです。マヌカショッピングセンターにも近く便利です。
