The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was very clean, and the breakfast service was prompt and delicious. The service was impeccable, friendly and helpful including welcome drink and mango. The value for money was the best in our two week travels of Vietnam. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I had one of my best hotel experiences at Jade Hotel in Hué. What do you expect when you book a budget hotel? Normally, I don't expect much. However, I was greeted in the door by a handful of young, enthusiastic and smiling employees. The room […] that met me had high ceiling (like the rest of the building), beautiful interior and there were rose leaves spread over the bed. It was indeed romantic!! If you expect a piece of toast and a cup of coffee for breakfast you'll again be positively surprised. Every morning you can pick and choose freely from the menu that includes eggs, fruits, coffee and juices. And we are talking about a free breakfast! No buffet style hassle, you just sit back, let the staff take the order and wait for the food and drinks to come. Honestly I thought that they would charge me for this, but it was 'just' the free breakfast. Staff are informing and helpful. The sell tours (like any other hotel in Vietnam), but they are not being neither pushy nor aggressive. And they definitely do not signal to expect you to use their services. Very cozy hotel with red rose petals on snow white quilt! Errand boy did help to carry our two luggages up and down - our room was on the highest 4th floor! Heater was also provided without asking...

The Jade hotel is by far the best hotel I stayed in in Hue. I have tried a few other hotels but none of them could compare themselves with the Jade Hotel. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. The Jade hotel has everything a backpacker or a budget traveller needs, and more. A 7 minute walk to the "main" part of the city centre, the surrounding streets are rather noisy at daytime - like they are everywhere in Vietnam, but after 9 p.m. there is total silence, and the staff there is just AMAZING. The rooms are large, with nice and clean bathrooms, its may appear a little worn down, but not much, and still very charming in its way. Every day. the beds are decorated with rose petals, and there are fresh flowers in your room when you arrive. I would certainly visit this hotel again, and I would for sure recommend it to others! The only "down-part" is the fact that it is not in the middle of the city centre, but its only a 7 min walk, and the area is really very quiet at night time! It also felt like a safe area.
