Good hotel for the money, courteous staff, clean, comfortable.

Easy checkin once I found it. Still has signage for Scotswood, only see Knights Inn on a temporary sign once you're in the parking lot. Room was quite small but had everything I needed for a one night stay. Would have been crowded for more than one person. Nice spa/pool area. No problem connecting to the Internet. After the first night we were trying to find another room in Minneapolis and forfeit the last two non refundable nights. The bed was horrible. Spring mattress with hardly any padding on top. We felt every spring and a bar by the mid back area. We brought in a roll away and it smelled like a tavern with smoke. Either the maid room or previous users. […] 100 car freight trains passing every three hours 24 hours a day blowing loud horns. Breakfast was coffee, no decaf, toast, Hostess Ho Ho"s, and store bought mini muffins. No mention on THIS website but when I checked in they tacked on a ten dollar a night charge for a small lap dog that was there for the evenings with us and gone during the day. Employee's where hard to understand. There English was not that good

The hotel was over all very clean. The staff was friendly. Our bed could have used a better matress tho. We came for the Steffes Auction and plan on coming again next year and plan on staying at the same location.
