Hotel was gorgeous, on a quiet street in French Concession area.The only negative was no air conditioning for some reason (not turned on yet!?) so the room was a bit warm. Would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Fenyang Garden Hotel. The hotel feels secluded, as it is set back from the road, but it is close to the metro and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I had some initial trouble with the wired internet connection, but the staff resolved this for me. I would stay there again.

This was my second stay. It is a very clean, well maintained hotel. Both times I specified "no smoking" rooms and each time rooms had no lingering smoke odor. That is rare for China. Really comfortable beds. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk from metro line 10 stop and in the quiet part of the French Concession.

This was a beautiful hotel and staff were extremely helpful. Some spoke English, which was a great advantage. We got a big discount to this hitel through hotels.com, which made this rather high class hotel really worth a stay. Big room, quiet area, friendly staff. Altso very close to the subway of Shaanxi Nan Lu. Loved the food stalls in the nearby Nanchang Road and Fuxing Road. It was wonderful - very warm and welcoming, a lot more than we expected. Lovely foyer in old French style.. We really enjoyed our stay at the Fenyang Garden. The location was convenient and the hotel is located in it's own little courtyard that feels secluded and quite, which can be a rarity in Shanghai. Stayed in this hotel for four nights. It's gardens are lovely and the grounds are very peaceful with no traffic noise heard from the room. Staff advised on how to get train tickets from the booth just opposite the hotel - very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

This may not be an obvious chioice. Sure this is not a well known brand and is not in the heart of the city but the stay here was fantastic. There are 6 floors of spacious, superbly maintained rooms located in the French Concession area. The quality is true to a 5 star hotel without the huge lobby and grand expense. Breakfast was about $16US. My family […] loved the location with some nice local shops in a tree lined street and still only 3 stops on the metro to the Bund. This is in middle of the French Concession area that was the poshest part of Colonial Shanghai. The original building is a posh Spanish villa built in 1932. Anyone from Southern US will feel immediately familiar and comfortable here. The hotel is a modern extension. It has a large garden, is located on a quiet and treed street, easy walking distance […] to subway and bus stations, Huaihai Road (main shopping street), myriads of posh and plain Jane restaurants, and former grand villas that are most definitely worth visiting. A rare combination! If you plan to drive yourself (highly un-recommended in Shanghai), there is even plenty of on-site parking. Again something unheard of in central Shanghai. The room is very large and very well equipped. Ours has to be 500 sq ft or more with a King size bed tucked away in the corner, never seen a hotel room this roomy. And for the price that is breathtaking for what you get. The hotel has its own restaurant which is above average but otherwise unmatched to the rest of the hotel. This is probably because it is so close to so many excellent restaurants nearby that guests tend to go out for dinners. And although it is easy to find actually, this place is so exclusive that you probably need to show the taxi driver the address card. But none of that will make me give it anything less than 5 stars. a very nice hotel in a nice and quite area near one of the main shangai streets . 10 minutes walking from the subway stop line 1. The only inconvenient it has been the little english spoken by some of the hotel staff. I will recomend the hotel.

Marketed as a garden hotel, there's not much of a garden to speak of. "Garden view" looked out over the dilapidated apartment building next door. Das Hotel liegt wunderschön mitten in Shanghai (für einen Pekinger sind die Entfernungen zu den Hauptattraktionen sehr kurz), die Bahn ist fußläufig zu erreichen und der Hongqiao-Airport mit dem Taxi nur 15min entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr schön, die Betten sind weich genug und die Lage sehr ruhig. Leider ist das Frühstück - vor allem zum […] Preis von 98RMB (für chinesische Verhältnisse aehr viel Geld) - eine Frechheit! Da habe ich in anderen chinesischen Hotels für deutlich weniger Geld schon mehr Auswahl gehabt, das Personal war motivierter und vor allem die Wurst war nicht um 9 schon ranzig! Der Kaffee löst fast Herzflattern aus. Das war echt schade, aber da sind wir einfach in einem der zahlreichen westlichen Cafes in der Stadt frühstücken gegangen. Vielleicht ist dies auch der niedrigen Auslastung im Winter geschuldet und im Sommer besser. 펜양가든 호텔의 좋은 위치가 마음에 들어 예약했습니다. 위치는 역시 좋았습니다. 더 놀란 것은 호텔 안의 시설입니다. 소박한 외관에 비해 갖출 것은 다 갖추어져 있고, 침대, 침구 등도 청결했습니다. 단점이라면, 방 안에서 와이파이가 안 된다는 점입니다. 그것 빼고는 만족했던 호텔입니다.

Pas de mini bar dans la chambre, pas de WIFI uniquement dans le Loby, il est impossible de se servir du PC de l’hôtel à partir d'une certaine heure, pas de bar, ni de room service à 23 H. Convenient location right in the heart of Shanghai city. Walking distance to subway. Small hotel converted from old house with nice surroundings. Close to zero facilities so don't expect much however it is perfectly okay for us.

上海中心街にあり、地下鉄移動も可能、また徒歩での外出も楽。朝食は普通。一流ホテルのサービスを特に望んでいなければ、非常にコストパフォーマンス高い。 写真のガーデンは通常使用していないものの様で、それを期待してはいけない。それほどホテルスタッフに望むことなく、サービス等割り切ってしまえば、非常にいいホテルと思う。夫婦での旅行でしたが、妻も次回またここに泊まりたいと話している。

出張のために利用しました。 場所はおしゃれな店が立ち並ぶ富民路×巨鹿路の周辺、 上海音楽学院の向かいです。 非常に静かで、緑も豊かです。それぞれの部屋にはテラスもついていて、くつろげます。 まだ新しいホテルで、シャワーの水もきれいで、水圧もしっかりしていました。 フロントの方はもちろん英語が通じます。非常に優しいです。 しいて言えば、朝食はもうちょっとレパートリーがほしいかな、という感じですが、 コストパフォーマンスはかなり良いので、次の出張にも使いたいです。
