We stayed again at this hotel after a gap of about 7 years. It was just as nice as before although I think the breakfast was not as extensive. Still a good choice however. We chose to park on the street as felt the charge for parking was excessive - no problems and we were always just outside the hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay in bright well appointed rooms and easy acces to all other routes and all the town facilities. Staff were very helpful. We made the mistake of not eating in the hotel and were very disappointed with our meal and general food away from the hotel.

Excellent stay Hotel very well placed for all amenities of the town. Evening meal one of the best we have had and a very reasonable price. The breakfast however was very pricey Almost the same price as the evening meal!! Take your breakfast in the square nearby at a fraction of the hotel

A hotel I simply would NOT recommend. We booked what seemed a quaint old hotel what we got was an old hotel front and restaurant and a room at the back in what is basically a poorly finished modernisation? of existing buildings. \ Our room was a little box with the smallest hotel single beds I have ever experienced and a bathroom which was tiny and […] impossible for 2 people to be in at the same time. We foolishly booked for dinner in what seemed to be a silver star restaurant in the original hotel buildings. It was pretending to be something it wasn't the food was at best OK and the wine the most expensive I have ever experienced for mediocre wine eg a bottle of 2010 wine at E46.00.
