The staff is rude and clearly are unhappy with their jobs. The hotel is in desperate need of maintenance. I needed this hotel just to lay my head down for a few hours so it met that need. But no alarm clock, no hair dryer, weird! Great diner across the street though!

Location very poor if you do not have a car. Very expensive cab ride into town or HUP. View of refinery instead of city. Very helpful in late arrival and early departure, though never got a requested wake-up call. Courtesy shuttle driver to airport very helpful and cooperative...about 20 minutes to airport.

I will join the long list of negative reviews and say, yes, stay away! This is a stinky ffilthy hotel with zero maintenance. It could be a nice one and conveniently located not far from the airport and 4 miles from Center City, but it is in such a bad condition that you don't want to spend your bucks here. Nothing works! There is not cold water, only […] boiling water (even in the flush tank!), the elevators are cranky, no internet connection, breakfast is a joke, the sheets are stained, the batroom was filthy, the heater did not work (had to change to another room). It was ok. Workers are friendly. It is quiet. It is not the best place to stay. You get what you pay for in the price of the hotel. The up keeping is not good at all.

The shower drain was backed up and you took a "bath" when in the shower. The hotel was recommended as being affiliated with another well known company and it was in atrocious condition. The room was dirty and the walls were falling apart. This hotel was a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal. The price was reasonable (especially for the location on a game night) but it really was mostly in disrepair. The staff was friendly and moved our first room for us (the lights didn't work and it was a smoking room when we requested a non-smoking). The "restaurant" was only fried food and cash […] only. Hotel was convenient for us to catch an early flight the next morning from Philadelphia International Airport. The first room we were assigned had no clock radio, on blanket on the bed and the telephone did not work, so I went down to the front desk to ask for a blanket and clock radio. Holes in the blankets (maybe from cigarettes?). Shower either incredible hot or cold. I had to turn off the toilet manually by the valve to stop it from running all night. Beds were small, maybe doubles. Decent location. Nice staff. Cheap, but still not worth the price.

Hotel is older but they are try to up keep. The staff is nice and present but only one in the front desk. It appears that the hotel is going through an upgrade. The room is clean and the furniture/bathroom is new. However there is no microwave or small refrig. First thing I noticed as I entered the room was white smeared stains in various spots across the floor. I didn't walk on the floor without socks on. The comforter on the bed looked dingy and I wasn't sure if it was ever washed not to mention it had cigarette burns on it. Next ill move on to the bathroom. So after every shower I would have lay out towels across the floor in order to clean up all of the water. Also the fire alarm went off three times while I was there. No one assessed the situation let us know what was going on, why the alarm went off. After sitting there for a few minutes with no word on what was going on just went back upstairs to my room. Checked in late without problems. My room was on the second floor so I was able to connect with the wi-fi. Very average hotel... nothing more, nothing less. I had read reviews saying they had bed bugs but my room was free of them.

The telephone on the nightstand had the faceplate ripped off and several of the buttons were not there. This place is a dump, I'm mostly staying in hostel's on my trip around the USA and they are a 100 times nicer and cheaper than this dump! The WIFI only works in the lobby and we had no hot water all trip!
