we have stayed here before, the price is good for the location. We did not stay for the breakfast. Street noise is a bit loud but not overwhelming .

The rooms are clean. No comments on the services, because we only stayed in a few hours. Hotel itself is old, the lubby is small, and only one computer for email checking. Guests have to line up for it. The hotel location is great, very close to downtown area. In general, it is OK.

The hotel is older and a little quirky because of that but we had a comfortable night and were very impressed by the local knowledge of the desk staff, and their happiness ot share that knowledge. Although stairs are part of the deal, we did have an offr from staff to help with baggage.

the staff are mostly very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite nice. It is within 20 minutes walk to the town centre. Bed was comfortable, bathroom small but had all the essentials. Reasonably priced. Nothing glamorous, but good.

Would not repeat it. The room was clean but the ceramic tiles in the bathroom were moving under my feet. The street had noisy pedestrians all through the night. The hotel offers no amenities except a continental breakfast. The hotel is not suitable for the handicapped. It has a lot of stairs and no elevator. Good location close to citadel and a nice walk to town and other sights. Small room and very small bathroom, but adequate for our 3 nights there. Could hear a lot of noise from room above us and air conditioner was a bit noisy in such a small room.

Price point of hotel was appropriate. Location was close to Harbour front, within walking distance. very good service.

I liked the fact that she(my daughter) lived closeby. I found it to be in a good location for walking to town, Citadel Hill, restaurants, liquor store,etc. I found the room to be small,but very comfortable. I enjoyed having the decks to sit out on, as it was so hot and there was at least a breeze and some shade. the hotel is a bit dated and tired in its apearence. our bed was an absolute disaster, but the tv was very nice, maybe they should invest first in a new bed instead. but the location is allright, about 20 minutes walk to downtown

Charming old structure, had a little trouble with the AC to set it lower, We had a specific need to be close to the hospital otherwise the lo0cation is good. IT worked out OK though. Loved thr Breakfasts.

The Web site gives the impression (maybe I didn't read carefully) that this is a new hotel bordering the Halifax Commons. It is actually very old - those in good condition. No elevators and we were on 3rd floor - narrow stairways. Continental breakfast OK - I'd give it 6.5 on 10. But then I like croissants and home preserves! Room was exceedingly small; bathroom (no tub) tiny; only shampoo (1/2 bottles) & 2 soap for amenities; 3 hooks on wall with 3 plastic hangers; lamps and pictures permanently attached. I booked this room over the phone for my daughter and her friends. They told me one price and charged them almost $100. more when they got there.I don't think they should have taken advantage of 4 teenagers.

Hotel amusant car plein de vieilleries. La chambre est impéccable et d'un bon rapport qualité prix. Un peu excentré mais nous avons visité tt Halifax à pied. je le conseillerai cependant car c'est un bon compromis qualite/prix:situation.

Fint hotell for deg som ikkje stiller veldig store krav til kvalitet og vil bo relativt billig i Halifax. Det er ikkje så langt frå sentrum, bryggen og handlegatene i Halifax. Nabolaget er heilt ok, det ligger i eit bolig område med mange privatboliger og eit par lokale pizzasjapper/ceféer. Eineste eg kan utsette på er mulighetene til å sjå Premier […] League fotball, men det er ikkje bare på dette hotellet at du ikkje har TV kanaler som viser det som virkelig bør kalles for fotball (ikkje soccer.) ;) Frukosten er *dårlig*, faktisk bedre uten... så hvis du vil sove litt frempå, unngå frukosten og ta deg heller ein tur til nærmeste kiosk/pøb/café og ta deg ein skikkelig frukost der istedenfor. Det er ikkje så dyrt å få ein god frukost til 5-10$ Alt i alt, bra hotell, bra beliggenhet ift prisen, dårlig frukost. Får 7 av 10 poeng av meg ;) อ่านเพิ่มเติม
