From the immediate access to the LI Aquarium, to the indoor pool, this place is a great quick overnight/two night -- mini vacation for families. Free Breakfast was plentiful, hotel very attractive and well maintained. My only complaint was the parking. Using the required key card didn't work in the parking gate. Hotel was so clean and very modern. We brought 6 boys for my sons birthday and we had an adjoining room. The beds were so comfortable and everyone was so nice there. Would definitely go back!!

Overall this is a very nice hotel. Very spacious lobby area. New looking elevators. Nice vistas on one side, I stayed on the other. The room was very nice, upscale, nice sitting area, work area, big screen TV. Bathroom was not spacious but had a very nice shower. The hotel has limited close parking. The hotel is brand new so it is in great shape. The neighborhood was good. The continental breakfast is on the light side, fruit was fresh but that was all. Cereal and bread was the main stay of the meal. We had a king suite overlooking the parking lot. The other side of the hotel overlooks the river. definately get the river view. The aquarium next […] door is very nice, also brand new and worth the admission fee. Skip Jerry & the mermaid next door. Food was not good. Good location if you want to visit the wineries

Great hotel. Huge room. Perfect for my large family. Only complaint was the indoor pool was small and painfully loud.

The heater in room 513 hyatt in Riverhead made tremendous noise that makes imposible to sleep. It is like to have a tractor trailer on next to your bed. Nobody could sleep for two days in my room. The hotel was very clean. Nice location next to Atlantis.

This hotel and it's staff are outstanding. The hotel is new, clean and beautiful. The rooms are exactly what are posted. Within walking distance to a beautiful new restaurant, there is a bar inside and right next to property. Close to winery's and 20 minutes to Greenport and Shelter Island and 40 minutes to ferry to or from CT. Complimentary breakfast […] was a nice surprise and food was great. We had a great experience. This hotel was one of the nicest i've been to, and we travel a lot because of Volleyball. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was very friendly and courteous. We had enjoyed the pool , the staff the breakfast abd the late night snack at Jerry and the mermaid Bar! The kakraoke was great and the food was too. WHAT A GREAT GETAWAY...

We had an enjoyable stay at the Hyatt. The staff was extremely polite, personable and helpful. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We would recommend the Hyatt and did while we were in Riverhead. We definitely would stay there again.

Right next door to the Long Island Aquarium

The hotel was new, clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. It would have been an ever bettter experience if the indoor pool was about 10 degrees warmer especially in now in winter.

We recently enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Riverhead. The room was very clean and spacious. The front staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. The location is very convenient to both the North and South Forks of the island. We would stay here again on our next visit to LI.

This was a beautiful hotel at really reasonable rates for a Hyatt. The staff was friendly and incredible - I checked out not realizing that I had left my briefcase and laptop behind. They tracked me down to let me know that it had been found - thank you !!!

We loved our room and the staff was wonderful. This area did not have a lot of options and we were very happy with the hotel and the friendly staff.

Pros: room I stayed in looked like the pics (studio apt). Interior design of the room is very modern including bathroom. The hotel staff was very friendly and when I asked about where to warm up food, staff actually brought a microwave to our room to use for our entire stay! Also, the free wireless internet was sooo convenient!! Access to gym and small, […] warm pool. Although hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, GO TO JERRY AND THE MERMAID NEXT DOOR! It looks like your average seafood restaurant, but their food is 5 star quality--comparable to many restaurants in Manhattan! Aquarium is next door and is a main attraction. Hyatt is 15 min drive to Hamptons, will definitely book there again. Cons: The bed is quite soft, and is right next to the heater, the direct air was too much for me, but I needed it on. Their complementary breakfast is only cold food, which I wasn't too happy about. Sometimes hotel staff not available at front desk. Awkward having sink and garbage can outside of bathroom. We stood only overnight but the room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful and efficient.

Great hotel for an excellent value, nice rooms, parking lot not big enough but, great stay overall!

Just one beautiful place. All new and updated! Loved it!

Nice room, comfortable bed, and nice HDTV. No bath but a sizable shower. Only problem was that it was very noisy and had a difficult time sleeping. We were on the 5th floor and still the noise outside from the neighboring restuarant was loud and obnoxious until 3AM.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and there was nothing to complain about. The room (2 queen) was big and comfortable and there was everything we needed. The beds were very soft but super nice to sleep in! Breakfast was good too. We were positively surprised by having "real" dishes at the breakfast buffet instead of all those throw-away dishes you find […] at many hotels. We had a great time, staff was friendly and hotel was beautiful and very modern/fancy. Loved it. We stayed with our 18 month old who loved the indoor pool.

Comfortable and clean hotel with luxurious rooms. We got a good rate on the internet. Conveniently located for a visit to Long Island.

We were so pleased with our stay here -- they really got a brilliant decorator in -- the lobby and rooms are a soothing blend of tech and Asian modern. The room has plenty of plugs for your digital gadgets, large flat spaces where you want them, and the room was immaculately clean and airy, very comfortable to hang out in. It was perfect other than 4 times we went down to order food and nobody was there. Under staffed? We ended up going out to eat. When we got back we ordered 2 black coffees and she charged us $10!!! We said are you sure? $10 for 2 coffees? And she said yup. Ridiculous.

The room was very comfortable with a separate sitting area. The staff was helpful. Restaurants located nearby on Main St. We like the Japanese restaurant a couple of blocks away. 'There are two pools which look very nice, which we didn't use. Breakfast was the usual OK continental, coffee was good. Our only complaint is parking. There aren't enough […] spots around the hotel. Brand new clean hotel that we used as our base for our trip to the Hamptons. We spent no time using any of the hotel facilities but they all looked very nice. Great place to stay if you want to be close to the Hamptons.

Helpful staff and nice room. Once the neighborhood finishes construction, should be in a nice area.
