While located a bit from Siam Square, the low price gives you ample room in the budget to buy day passes on public transport, the MRT station is just a 3 minute walk away and one station away is the BTS SkyTrain station. This is my 2nd stay at FX Makkasan, during my first stay, the staffs were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and decorations were well-kept. However, in less than 8 months, I came back to this hotel and was given very bad service. Was carrying heavy luggages out of the hotel entrance and none of the staffs bothered to help. It was so different […] now, I guess it's because the last time when I visited, they were a newly opened hotel. As usual, the location is rather to the train station but if you were to take a cab, the cab driver will never know where exactly is your hotel. No nearby food stores or 7-11 except for a pathetic dimsum restaurant. We went really disappointed when we entered our room! The photos of the hotel showed us a modern, cozy hotel, but in fact it was old, worn and looked more like a cheap guest house.. Clean tidy hotel, friendly staff could hardly speak any English though. Location a bit away from the city centre but close to some shopping centres. Value for money in my opinion.

Not as nice as in pictures

Hotel was fine. Clean rooms, friendly staff and free internet. Location is poor for nearby places of interest and you have to get transport to restaurants as there are none close by that I saw, other than the Dim Sum place attached to the hotel.

Nice central location if you want to hang out near Bangkok downtown city center, but absolutely zero options for food at night, so watch out. The hotel itself and its service rates a 3/5, cleanliness is good.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. No extras, but close to Skytrain, subway and canal transportation.

Hotel walking distant to the MRT n Airport Train. Room size good for 2 only. Service at the counter is exemplary, very friendly n helpful. Will go back again if in Bangkok. Just check-in on time and i request for a room trasfer the other night and they accomodate my request.. the room is new and comfortable because its only 9months old. Its like a chic hotel.. 10-15mins walk to MRT station and 7-11.. room service not bad at all.. Front Desk Staff was Amazing!!! Thanks FX Hotel!!!

Convenient if u travel by train, not if by taxi cause most taxi driver do not know the address, the map that provided by the hotel shoud have been written in thai not english. And there is no convenient shop in 50m radius. They dun have double bed, its just 2 single bed combined. If you not fussy, this hotel is ok, just dun expect too much.

The Hotel location is near to Thai's Express Train station (easy reach Airport direction and towards town). The BTS is also near location. Although no pub nearby, the place is conveniently access to the city taking the train. Staffs are also friendly. Computer and Internet access available, very good for me to check my emails. This hotel is brand new,it's clean and modern. Worth the price,just the location is not so convenient,surrounding is nothing at all, it's not far by taxi or tuk tuk ride to sukumvit area about 50bath,BUT traffic jam is expected. I was very dissapointed with this hotel since I felt that the previous reviews sounded good. The hotel rooms looked like an old hospital that was turned into a "modern" hotel - very sterile! Unfortunately the room I had was still dirty (hairs in the shower, hairs in the bed). I had to pay for Internet (which shouldn't happen anymore) but it really only […] works with googling stuff since I couldn't get my emails or get online to Skype. After a long discussion with the hotel staff I finally got it off my bill, which was good. Unfortunately I was unpopular with the staff the rest of the stay. Luckily I got a good deal on hotels.com and didn't pay full price for this place and it doesn't make any sense to pay what they ask. Stayed there for one night because the hotel we initially wanted to stay was not available for the first night of our trip. The service crew was really friendly and helpful- thumbs up! Positive:- The Hotel Staff is very helpful. Good value for money hotel. Location is near to MTR & Airport Express Station. Negative:- The travel desk charges 50% more money than other taxi. Poor internet service.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The first room I got had a billboard blocking the window, but I requested for a change on the second day and the new room had a much nicer view. Booked this one without having any other reviews to go on, so glad it worked out well. Room was at the back, so view out the pair of small windows wasn't stellar, but didn't need to be really as it was more a place to crash than a place to spend all the time. Whole place had a newly painted and laid back kind of style, sheets, towels etc were clean […] and neat. Flatscreen TV worked fine, as did the aircon (though took a bit of fiddling to work out how to get it working the way I wanted). The main reason I booked this one was its proximity to the Makkasan air terminal - this is not the same as the other Makkasan station, this one is served by the Airport Express train service and I was able to easily walk from the terminal to the hotel at about midnight without any problems or feeling unsafe in any way. If you've got a lot of luggage or wheeled luggage then you might still be better off taking a taxi (make sure they run the meter or agree a reasonable cost upfront) since the pavement is uneven in places. 出行很方便，走二三分钟就能做到MRT。但是房间隔音一般，沿街有点吵。

エアポートリンク、地下鉄が使えて便利。地下鉄で一駅でBTSのASOKまですぐ。シャワーが貧弱だけど、不満という程ではない。価格、サービスのバランスは優秀だと思う。ネットの接続が不安定。フロントにあるＰＣは安定しているので、イライラしたくなければそちらを。毎日２本補充される水も助かります。

ARL、マッカサン駅に近いので市内まで出てホテルに行くまでが近くて便利。数年前に古いアパートをリノベーションしたホテルなので、設備的には素晴らしいとはいえないが、泊まるだけなら問題ない。WiFiは部屋によって電波の状態がかなり異なるので、最近LANケーブルを各部屋に設置するようになった。

离机场快线也很近，回机场很方便，只是机场快线每半小时才有一班，回程时一定得计划好时间，以免担务登机。

地下鉄駅やコンビニにも近く、コストもお手頃価格で良かったです。
