To be honest I was not very excited about this hotel from the view outside but I must say my views were changed the second we stepped into our room. The place is very clean with nice owner, however the place is very noisy. Luckily there were not many guests there but you could hear the upstairs flushing of bathroom, the train during the night and people talking in general. Price is great, breakfast nice but small eating area.

The rooms were nice and comfy! The staff was friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night. Would come back again!

Overall the place is a little funky, but the our room was very well appointed, clean and exceeded our expectations. Easy walk to a few shops, restaurants, etc. Would highly, highly recommend Azteca - the Mexican restaurant it shares a parking lot with. We absolutely will be back!

Hotel is a combination hostel/hotel. The hotel rooms are on the bottom floor with the hostel dorms located on the second floor. We did not experience any excessive noise and the room was quiet. LOVE this place. Although there is no service to speak of (it is a very small place so that was expected) the rooms are very homey, super comfortable and the hotel is very quiet.

We were very happy with our over night stay. The staff were very happy and helpful. The room and surrounding B & B were very clean and comfortable. The only problem I could find fault with would have to be the standard of the pillows. Way to soft. I believe this is a personal opinion. This was a nice place, but we did not get to stay for the night we paid for. I did not relize that it is also a hostel. We have a 2 1/2 year old who is kinda hard to get to sleep in strage places, and all the people up stairs walking around and talking kept him awake. He made us miserable, and we left at 10:30pm.

When I booked it said i was getting a "suite" which turned out to be a single room with extra beds brought in. It was okay for one night, and the rooms were clean, but this is a Hostel that happens to have some Hotel rooms, it has a communal feel to it. This place is Beyond Clean. Smelled SO CLEAN spotless ! I felt bad when I entered the lobby and had snow on my shoes, The night manager was polite and very helpful..showed us everything we needed or wanted to know. Great place Clean rooms.. Chose this hotel for a quick overnight on our way to Steamboat. We stayed in the Sleigh Room and it was very nice, comfortable and clean!

Very clean and quiet place, like staying with the family. Close to the few local restaurants and shpping areas. Rooms are large and nice, and have a good view. The location is well south of the Rocky Mtn National forest, nowhere near Grand Lake , but right north of Winter park.

This was a very cute bed and breakfast. We went to the mexican restaurant that stood right next to the hotel and that was delicious. This was a great little place to get away for the night. Only 5-8 minutes away from Winter Park Resort. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Only complaint is the bed we had was extra firm, which was fine for me […] but my boyfriend did not like it. I would recommend adding DVD players to the rooms because the TV service was very limited, but there is a blockbuster rental at the safeway across the street. I was very impressed with the facilities at the Rocky Mountain Chalet. The Meadows room couldn't have been better. Good breakfast and personnel were most helpful. The room rate was unexpectedly great!

Remodeled rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately the hotel is right off of a busy street instead of being tucked away but we enjoyed our stay as the hotel was quiet and we were able to relax. Would like to visit again.

The people were very friendly and the room was very very clean and neat. We loved our stay.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The owner was one of the most hospitable people I've ever met. She bent over backwards to make our stay exceptional...to the point of moving us to a room that she considered much nicer.....it was! Will recommend the chalet to all my friends.

Not really a hotel; not really a B&B. Spent one comfortable night there in July. Reasonable prices, clean and comfortable. The extra channels on the Direct TV were nice. No air conditioing in my room. Would stay again, when in the area.

The hotel is in the heart of the small town of Fraser, two miles north of the Winter Park Ski Area. It is five minutes from any place in Fraser or Winter Park. Our family recently stayed at this charming hostel and found it to be perfect. Exceptionally clean, they even have you leave your shoes at the front door! Great location with market close by and a good place to eat authentic Mexican food next door. Kitchen available also for preparing your own meals. I was surprised to see that the hotel was also a HOSTEL! It does not advertise as one and is quite a shock. The rooms are over priced. The gourmet kitchen is also in the hostel and is shared by all who stay there. There are also very many strange rules and lots of don't s that make it a little hard to want to go back.

This hotel was more like a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel. My husband and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel itself as well as our room.
