The hotel is conveniently located in the Foxwoods Resort casino. Our room was spacious and had a view of the forest that surrounds the casino. Overall a great stay and we will definitely return here.

We were very impressed with the Foxwoods complex. The Great Cedar Hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and well decorated as was the entire hotel and casino. Will definitely return.

After reading all reviews before staying at the Great Cedar, I must agree that this is a good hotel for families to get away for a night or a weekend. Our room was clean, and spacious, and having a pool was perfect for our kids. The hotel is very well updated! The staff at front desk was nice. Great Cedar is part of the Foxwoods Casino/ resort complex, so it is very convenient but not as costly as the "Towers". Unlike some hotels that say they are near Foxwoods, you do not have to take a shuttle bus. The hotel is nice, maybe 3 - 4 stars, my husband liked the Poker room, lots of restaurants, adequate shops and some entertainment.
