Hotel La Sierra - ซานตามาร์ตา

Location is good - right across the beach but the rooms were very small. the sink location is beneath a counter that made it difficult to use. Balcony a plus but very small that made it unusable. If they lower the rate, I could book again. At the price charged I found out you could get a lot better deals

Hotel la Sierra is in a nice location right on the beach in El Rodadero. The hotel staff is mostly very friendly, and some of the balconies have a great view to the beach and the sea. The breakfast is a bit better than in backpacker hostels, but the price is also higher than in backpacking places. Ok value for the money, if you're tired of cheap hostels […] for some time, but somewhat expensive for a longer stay. We got an overpriced transportation to Cartagena arranged through the hotel, so it might be a good idea to check for a second price if you arrange transportation or tours through the hotel staff. The transportation to Parque Tayrona was with an ok price, but we had to re-negotiate it with the driver on the bus, as he expected a higher price than we had agreed with the guy standing in front of the hotel. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Excellent service, friendly staff and beautiful views from the rooms. It would be nice if some of the staff spoke a little English for the convenience of the non-Spanish speaking tourists. I realize there are cheaper hotels in the area, but this one come with a great restaurant.
