So I read up a bit about this on trip-advisor, and some of the negative points chimed with my own (queen bed is two singles pushed together; limited car... parking with overflow ten minutes walk away) and I had a few niggles of my own such as RTE not working on the telly when I was hoping to watch the leinster final (quite an embarrassing problem as it was actually on IN Kilkenny at the time and normally RTE is the ONLY channel you can get in hotels). The wireless internet wasn't amazing, it was hard to get reception in the room, but when I got it it was functional. Staff were friendly and efficient. A lot of the more negative reviews have bemoaned that though this is a nice hotel its flaws mean it can't claim to be four star. But the location is superb, the hotel was very comfortable, my room had a view of the castle, and though the main car-park was full, I found a niche beside the bins, and nobody bothered me about it! So despite its flaws it does have many qualities that just don't rate on a more conventional scale. I'll leave it at a pricey four (: โดย Robert จาก Dublin เมื่อ 20/05/2013
