Bay Motel - เบย์ซิตี

The stay was fine. I spent only nights sleeping in the room and the area was quite at night.

One thing that I liked about the room was that there was a loveseat in the room suitable for two people to watch TV. I always hate when there is only one semi-comfortable chair in the room and just the bed for any other party to sit on and watch the tube. And the price was right.

It is an older motel and the room was small but adequate for just myself for a couple night stay. The roomand bathroom was clean. The bed was clean with fresh sheets and pillow cases and the bed was very comfortable. They had wireless high-speed Internet access and cable TV. You can't get into the shower due to the opening between walls is only 12 inches wide.Room #19 A kid would have trouble getting to the shower. A large peice of plastic is used for a mattress cover. Bed spread has to be ten years old. Refrigerator did not work.

Even though we asked for a smoke free room, when we arrived our room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We opened our window hoping it would help and immediately left for the social engagement that brought us here in the first place. When we returned a few hours later, there were […] several heavily tattooed adults with no-shirts on, dogs, etc sitting around our room as well as several others near by. At least 5 of them were smoking, literally, two feet from our window filling our room with smoke. We spoke with the owner. He argued with us that it was a non-smoking room and he could not stop people from smoking outside. Although he offered us another room he told us this was his BEST room. The motel is older but clean and comfortable. The owners and staff are very friendly and accomodating. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
