Great beds! A bit noisy A/C but that's what you get if you mount an A/C unit inside your house... No allocated parking, but reception will hand out parking permits for street parking. Nice staff!

I arrived on a Sunday night and found that there is no parking lot for this hotel. You have to park on the street but Mondays and Tuesdays are restricted due to street sweeping. The rooms are big and could be quite nice if the 1970's furniture was redone. My door didn't lock and I had to move because my original room over the kitchen was too noisy. This is a value for money, small hotel with friendly, helpful staff. It is well located ( taking into account the size of Los Angeles) just off Wilshire Boulevard. After reading reviews on Yelp about the front desk person being rude, I am guessing that they made a change in staffing since we thought that they were very nice and accommodating! My wife and I decided a week before we stayed to take a surprise trip to CA for our daughter and take her American Girl Doll shop at The Groves in LA. We stumbled upon this […] hidden gem and we will stay there again when we visit that area again! Now what is true that I have read is that parking is difficult to find since it is street only parking. The neighborhood is quaint and unique since the hotel sits in a residential area. The hotel location was as close to perfect for what we wanted to do. The Groves is a few short blocks away (that place is amazing too! Since it is a boutique hotel, it is older therefore the floors and stairs do creak quite a bit however was no where near a deal breaker. We stayed in a room with two full size beds on the 2nd floor. One of the beds was comfortable and the 2nd one was like sleeping on a back of large, wide animal...not too comfortable. The daily continential breakfast was average but in a nice cozy area of the hotel. Located 20 minutes away from Santa Monica pier was a nice drive to see other parts of LA on the way. Once you become familiar with the area, there are plenty of shops and cafes located a short driving distance away. The cost is very reasonable when we stayed compared to other big name hotels. The hotel is on a really safe and quiet street. It's close to Beverly Centre and about 5-10 minutes drive to Hollywood attractions. Friendly staff and they even didn't take the tips I left! Will recommend this one to all my friends who plan to visit LA! Will stay here again!

I don't care what kind of price you get - stay somewhere else. There is no parking lot or garage. We went to a 2 day museum function on 6300 block Wilshire Blvd and wanted a reasonably priced room walking distance. This is my first review. I work in customer service so I try to not take surveys because I know how it feels. But my recent stay here was horrible. The front desk receptionist did not say hello or any thank yous. He wore glasses and is an older guy. He has no manners whatsoever. Breakfast was disgusting and not worth it. OK so it's small, no liveried concierge, no restaurant etc. But who cares with such friendly staff and when there's an abundance of (healthy, kosher) continental breakfast in the simple breakfast room! We absolutely loved it and can't wait till we get another chance to visit (from the UK!)

I knew a night in LA would be expensive. So I was happy to find this little "gem" of a spot. The bed was comfortable and the room was large but very simple. If you are looking for a basic place to rest that is close to every part of LA then you will be happy staying here... If you dont go in with too high an expectation you wont be disapointed at all...

I recently stayed 4 nights at the Wilshire Crest. Location worked well, it's on the Hop On, Hop off bus route, trips to downtown and Santa Monica weren't too bad, overall as good a location you can get in Los Angeles. Bed was very good. Very rude service, man at the front desk was extremely rude. He would not give me any ice when I asked for some. For what I paid for the room I would expect a friendly person at the front desk. I will never stay there again. No parking outside either.

The accommodation were nice enough for a one night stay. No actual designated parking, you must find a spot on the street in a residential area. We had to have our car off the street by 9:00 am even though check out wasn't until 10:00. They wanted to charge me $15.00 to have my daughter stay with me even though i have had a room with 2 beds because […] it cause more work. So not sure how they clean their rooms, is it just what they think needs changing or cleaned? Ok.... we read about the parking difficulty... but it is beyond awful! Not just the parking but the lack of stop sign or light to the area makes it a nightmare.
