it waqs only a short stay but I will book again , close to everything , lovely and clean , would have liked chairs on the balcony , but was a wonderfull stay thankyou so much

The staff were friendly and the room was well maintained. It was probably a bit expensive for the room but it is in a good location near Brisbane's South Bank. The breakfast finishes at 9:30 which is a bit early.

i would never stay here again - despite requesting a quiet room - I looked directly on to a major freeway - absolutely awful - never again

we had to wait over 10 mins for checkin as there was only one staff at desk and he was on the phone. This gave us only 20mins to shower and be ready for the taxi to go to the wedding. The rest of the time service was fine. breakfast was ok too.

Overall we were happy.The hot water and shower pressure was very poor with the lift making grinding sounds when we used it with it breaking down whilst we were there.Please commend the chef for the quality of the breakfast.

Had to ask for room to be changed,our balcony was a car park because they put us on the bottom floor and i mean a car park. No furniture on any of the balconies. We picked this hotel because it had balconies. Not good if you can't sit out their. Breakfast was really nice.

Options are few on Brisbane's Southbank for reasonably priced hotels. The Riverside ticks all the boxes if that's what you're after. Breakfast is outstanding.

although we only spent one night we were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, the hotel was only a short dsitance from the Transit centre where we needed to be to get to the airport.

Service was great, got an early check at about 10am, just had to wait for the room to be cleaned. Restaurant was also great, scrambled eggs with the cooked breakfast are fantastic. Room in general was quite old but that can't really be helped due to the age of the building. Overall not bad really.

I have booked this venue on e before had a great time so I booked again. I had a lovely room, not too small and not too big. To have breakfast at the same location was great and time saving. Breakfast was nice, however the mushrooms were somewhat fatty. The rail on the shower door looking from the outside dark marks could be seen.It actually looked […] like mildew. I was shocked to find my tea cup put back in the cupboard which still had the tea stain from my morning cuppa. Not good enough!

staff were very helpful ,good parking, eazy acess to city only one slight downer no TV in the bedroom.

Very disappointed with my stay. The buffet breakfast was great. Reception service was depressing and most unhelpful. No effort whatever was made to welcome guest. We were handed room keys with a long sour face ( don't know why ) but were not told the direction to go to our room/lifts. The hotel is spread out in both direction. Well maintained Hotel.Friendly check in.Comfortable and clean standard hotel room. Well priced restaurant with a small menu, just what tired travelers need. Cooked breakfast was usual hotel fare.Location was excellent for all the attractions on South Bank. Would certainly stay again.

The bathroom was quite smelly. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Wouldn't rate it 4 star.

I went to see a gig at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and the location of this hotel was perfect and the room I got was far beyond my expectations and great value for money. The staff were very professional and kind. I would recommend the place

The hotel was clean and room was a decent size. Noisy at night but otherwise a pleasant stay. Convenient location also, with just a short walk to South Bank.

perfect location if you want to catch up on he arts and culture scene in Brisbane. Just round the corner from the Gallery of Modern Art and the Queensland Art Gallery. not far to walk to Southbank or the city. would definitely stay again

The hotel was conveniently located for a visit to Southbank. It is just a short walk from South Brisbane Railway Station and Southbank. I'd stay here again.

Dirty bathroom (mold in shower), very dated furniture, cheap shower gel provided in a pump on the wall that had an awful smell ... Curtain not working properly therefore could not shut it properly ... was on a very busy road on level 2 as I had the view of the busy bridge with no furniture on the balcony (who wants to sit outside with that view anyway […] I guess!) ... And don't bother with breakfast ... at 18$ you can find better ... it was awful! I'm not a fussy person ... I'm in Thailand at the moment and my 3 star hotel is better than this hotel ... To complete the picture I was called by reception at 10.05 am that I was late for check out at 10am on Christmas Eve. I hadn't realised that check out was so early. rooms a bit small, but clean and tidt. Great location easy walk to Suncorp Stadium and Southbank. good value for money whrn compared to other hotels in the area.
