It rained one day and there was water coming in somewhere as the carpet wad wet by the wimdow. I reported to the desk but there was no follow up as far as i could tell. The carpet was wet when we retirned in late ebening. Since i was checking out the next day, i let the matter go. Staff were not friendly at all there. Free breakfast was mediocre. Fantastic!! Only thing negative is the small breakfast area, but food and service is worth it.

2 nights stay, was really what we were looking for , nothing estraordinary but very satisfactory. 3 minutes to the nearest metro and about 25 minutes to times square. rooms clean , breakfast ok. but hey this is not a 5 star and the price and location are perfect would definately return.

Clean, close by 52 street subway station ... Like 15 minutes ride to central station!

when I was leaving the hotel I asked the receptionist to call me a cab and when I arrive at the airport charge $ 55 and I had no choice but to pay it, that trip does not cost more than $ 25

This is a great hotel for those who has a bit more time to commute into the city centre. The room was kept clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, the breakfast was not delicious. Cold food only. You get what you've paid for. It is also across the road from the graveyard.

This hotel is located in a convenient location, close to buses and subways, and local restaurants. Overall, the hotel has a clean, modern look that made my stay mostly comfortable but quite a few strange happenings sullied the experience for me. Around 4pm, after I checked into my room, two maids entered my room. When they saw me and my girlfriend […] laying in bed they apologized but then proceeded to place and arrange new towels in the bathroom. I got up and told them they could just hand me the towels and leave but they continued in their task until they were done and then left, smiling awkwardly. Everyday during my stay, the maids could be seen vacuuming and cleaning rooms after 3pm so that the smell of trash and bleach infused the hallway. Isn't check-out at 11am so that these things can be accomplished before new guests arrive? I also discovered long dark hairs intwined in my coverlet which makes me wonder what cleaning staff is working so hard at every afternoon. I appreciated the location, free breakfast and modern decor but intrusive staff and foreign hair in my bed ruined it for me. The room we stayed in at this Quality Inn was very clean. The hotel was smal, but more than exceeded our expectations (the continental breakfest was really good). Only negative was the amount for parking available. Would (will) reccommend to anyone wanting to save on lodging while visiting NYC.

The location was good the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the attitude and the un friendly welcome from the front desk was unpleasant. I would pay a little more for good service. One thiing people need to understand is that most of the time where ever you, if you feel welcomed a lot of other things can be over looked.....

stayed here 10 days - housekeeping failed to show up on 2 of these days, otherwise all else was very good.

The rooms were small but very clean and in great shape!! Who cares if it is small you are not spending much time there anyway!! Great price and close to the train so getting into city was very easy!! parking was hard.

This hotel was really clean! It's close to subway #7! have good location and is nice neighborhood ! The stuff of hotel was nice! Will come back!

The hotel was very nice, and clean. The neighborhood was ok. The parking lot wasn't very large, mainly because of the location. But overall a very nice place to stay.

Very clean hotel, close to all, one city block from 7 train, you could be in times square in less then 20 minutes

My friend had checked out of her room and had forgotten her souvenir bag we called the manager and told him we were driving back to get it and he said no bag was found we even called the police. They did nothing at all to compensate my friend Parking is horrible Rooms were clean though

I could not expect this hotel is going to be clean because the price was checp but It was so nice.... I would like recommend to all strongly~

The hotel was great... very clean and perfect place to travel back and forth to Manhattan!

Overall great hotel only bad part is parking if lot is full park on the street you have to move by 8am but otherwise great

This hotel is no frills, but pleasant staff and free parking make a quick visit to NYC easy.

i have beenn traveling a lot and this was the best hotel affordable so convenient from LGA a 12$ cab ride. spotlessly clean and comfy and very friendly staff. highly recommended.

The Lobby could do with some decorating such as a couple of nice armchairs,staff were pleasant and helpfull ,rooms were clean and comfortable,should have Venician blinds to block sunlight,carpets need replacing in the whole Hotel,but otherwise pleasant decor in bathrooms and room walls,good location and close to trains to city. 3 out of 5

Housekeeping returned dirty drinking glasses with fingerprints in the inside and encrusted material. They also hog the only elevator: we waited for five minutes only to find, when the elevator did come, it was completely filled with their cart and two large trash bins. Recently we went to New York to visit family and tour NYC. WE found our hotel using HOTELS.COM and were looking for the most convenient, and reasonably priced hotel for our needs. This Quality Inn is literally one (1) block from the MTA 7 train stop at 52nd Street in Woodside, Queens, NY. It was easy to get into Manhatten and the 7 train goes right […] to Grand Central where you can get a connecting to Uptown or Downtown. The price was very good for a double room for 3 people; we especially liked the square, soft pillows. We enjoyed having all the stores and restaurants one block away as well as the NY subway system to go into Manhattan.

Equal to a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn. Set up for the business traveler. 20 Minutes from LaGuardia Airport. ($16.00 Cab) 35 minutes from Downtown by Subway. Neighborhood is old, but safe.

For the pay it is a very good place to stay. Very convinient place for the people planning to travel in Metro. Metro 7 station is 3 blocks away. I stayed for 3 nights and used to come from NY city around 2 AM in the morning. The neighbourhood is lonely but me and my wife felt comfortable to walk from Metro. Closer to LGA airport. My husband and I stayed there in July 2011. The room was very clean and quiet. There was an ample breakfast of juice, cereal, different breads and donuts provided. The Subway and bus is very close by, the location is excellent and safe. The hotel was recommended to me by a friend and we were very happy with our stay there.

Our flight was canceled right as we arrived at the airport. Having no good options for staying with friends (since each lives an expensive cab-ride away), we looked for a hotel close to LaGuardia. There is nothing fancy about this hotel, but it is clean and quiet. The staff is very courteous. The included wifi and simple breakfast were definite pluses. […] We enjoyed watching a movie on the nice LCD TV, but it's worth noting that the cable signal wasn't HD. There is a 7 train stop a few blocks away though we didn't need it (and I'm not sure I would want to walk through the neighborhood to get there anyway). The hotel has a car service they work with, but they wanted $25 to get to the airport. The cab fare to/from LGA was about $12 (not including tip). It only took us about two minutes to flag down a cab the morning of our departure, so I recommend trying that before calling the overpriced car service. For its size and location it is a decent hotel. However the parking is very scarce because it is near a residential area therefore driveways cut availability of space. Furthermore the hotel's parking space fits seven to eight vehicles with one space designated for handicapped drivers. Across the street there may be some spots yet drivers must move their […] vehilce between the hours of 8 am to 8:30 am for street cleaning purposes. You'll definitely get a ticket.
