Sedgehill House - Guest house - Salisbury

A lovely guest house five minutes walking distance to the centre of Salisbury. A nice welcome from Richard who gave us tips on where to dine.A lovely breakfast served in a tasteful period dining room, a comfy bed in a great room.A nice twixmas break would reccomend this guest house to anyone.

Sedgehill House could be a training centre for other B&B owners, because they achieve the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. This B&B is by far the best I have ever stayed in in over 50 years!!!! There is nothing to criticise and everything to praise. The Cathedral room was superb and our two night stay was extremely restful and quiet. The proprietors were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. You should follow their restuarant (and pub) reccomendations.. Breakfast […] was filling and superbly cooked and presented. You have to guess the method of cooking the mushrooms!!!!!! This was a wonderful relaxing experience. Top drawer room and very friendly host Richard. Very chatty and fun. The house and room were immaculate and very tasteful. Easy walking distance to town. Excellent breakfast. Even got a tour of the lovely garden. Loved it!!

Wonderful B and B! Fantastic rooms and delightful host. If you are going to Salisbury... stay here!

Can I give this place six stars please? Small and personal, the level of comfort and service doesn't get any better than this.

a lovely welcome and made to feel very much at home. Fresh milk and chocolate biscuit for tea was a nice thought. Good pub recommended down the road to watch football.

Hotel muito confortável e atendimento excelente. Quarto, banheiro, sala de café da manhã impecáveis. Os donos se esmeram em tornar nossa estadia o mais agradável possível. O requinte dos detalhes na decoração, as amenities no banheiro e as dicas de restaurantes próximos foram valiosos. Recomendamos com muito fervor.

The best B&B we have ever visited. Surpasses any 5-star hotel. Fantastic hospitality and service. Extraordinary beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Central location. This gem should be kept as a secret for those of us already knowing the place, but that would be terribly unfair to all other travellers.
