"Expensive & disappointing on all fronts"
The Hotel Riviera is one of 5 hotels all under the Lifeclass brand, which have access to the same central health & wellness facilities. The whole experience was very expensive and extremely disappointing and I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Firstly the hotel is dated and tired and looks in need of a refurbishment. This extends to the health […] & wellness facilities which photograph well for the website but are pretty aged and uninviting in reality. Also, despite a high room rate, only access to the main pools is included - for example you have to pay extra to use the sauna. Secondly the service was very poor. Calling either reception or the spa complex to make a booking for a treatment normally took numerous attempts before anyone answered, and when they did, the tone could best be described as curt. Thirdly, we stayed on a friday night and there was a bar on the beach front opposite the hotel that played extremely loud music until 1am. Our room was as far away from the bar as possible so I would have thought that anyone with a sea facing room would have had a similar or worse experience. Reception proved little help when they did answer the phone, first claiming that the music would finish at 11, then 11:30, then 12 etc. This was of course when they answered the phone. When we complained in the morning we were not offered any sort of complementary service and indeed were told that's what we should expect having a beach front room. Siamo stati all'Hotel riviera nel wekeend della befana, 2012 io e mio marito; l'hotel è molto bello e molto confortevole, è posizionato anche sulla via centrale quindi si ha accesso a tutti svaghi, casino',ristoranti,discopub eccecc, ed è fronte mare, quindi si puo' tranquillamente passeggiare ... :) Sono molto puliti,e il personale è molto gentile […] e qualificato; Hanno veramente un centro piscine bellisimo,da vedere assolutamente, e compreso nel prezzo avete anche il centro termale con molte piu' piscine ecceccc! noi abbiamo fatto solo pernottamento e prima colazione,e la colazione era molto ricca; per il cibo si sà...solo in italia si mangia bene :) consiglio a tutti questo Hotel!!! a pini voti!! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

"Hotel Riviera Portoroz"
Nice beachhotel, pity that we got a room without balcony- that should be standard! The private beach without sand should not charge extra for sunbed and parasol, it should be included! The service and atmosphere in the hotel was excellent.
hotel war ganz ok für 3 nächte. mir tat das kreuz weh von den betten. frühstück ist reichhaltig die brötchen wurst und käse waren aber nicht nach unserem geschmack. mit dem hallenbad war es gut, da nicht so gutes wetter war in portoroz. wir waren überrascht daß man beim liegeplatz vor dem hotel nochmal überteuert für liegestuhl und sonnenschirm drauf […] zahlen mussten. personal war bemüht อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Bien situé sur la baie de Portoroz Attention au bruit des orchestres sur l'avenue du bord de mer qui jouent jusqu'à minuit.

"Enkelt å greit"
Gratis p-plass bak hotellet m/bom, stilig hotell men vi hadde bare et lite rom. Frokosten var enkel men hva kan man forvente i utlandet!!
"Riviera, gente seria e professionale !!"
L'hotel è un 4 stelle sulla carta ed anche poi nella realtà, la struttura è precisa, il personale molto cortese, disponibile e professionale. Abbiamo usufruito della mezza pensione; il personale di sala è corretto e professionale e la qualità del cibo è di buon livello considerando il rapporto con il prezzo pagato. Nel complesso lo consiglio senza nessun […] problema e se dovessi tornare a Portorose usufruirei ancora di questa struttura. Vorrei sottolineare anche un altro aspetto, potrebbe anche sembrare scontato ma in realtà, secondo me non lo è affatto: Abbiamo dimenticato in albergo 3 paia di scarpe da donna, nuove e di valore, bene, ce ne siamo accorti la sera del nostro ritorno a casa. Abbiamo chiamato con la speranza di trovare persone serie che avrebbero confermato il ritrovamento... tutto ok, ce le hanno spedite con posta prioritaria il giorno successivo. Questo fatto potrebbe anche sembrare scontato ma non lo è, le scarpe sono di valore e sarebbero potute "sparire" tranquillamente essendo poi alla fine la nostra parola contro quella della cameriera.
